Bio and Links
Bio Photo Enjoy Walking in Cemetery's and reading Tomb Stones, have done it since I was a child when we would go to the Cemetery on Sundays and take my Grandmother to visit the Grave site of my grandfather. Nothing else for a child to do, except walk around and read other stones, think about the persons that died, and how old they were at the time. Enjoy it still today.

I have asked questions since I was a child on our family ancestry which has continued to absorb my interest to this day in doing research, sending away for actual records before computers ever thought of in our homes today. I'll be Remembered as "The Family Historian" when my time comes to depart! Hopefully Missed by All.

Earl Bass (memorial # 14025689)
I believe you have the wrong spouse for Earl Bass (#14025689). He was married two times, but not to Pearl Ernestine Duncan Bass (Memorial # 31541084).
Earl Bass (#14025689), is the son of my Great Grandparents: Chauncey Bass (memorial #14797286) & Minnie (Myers) Bass (memorial # 14797285). His two wives were Loretha Manier and Emma Catherine DeVine.
Thanks for correcting this.

Re Emma Albert Kelting
In researching Emma, I found that Robert and Emma did have a daughter, Emma Albert Kelting, born 30 October 1899 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. This would also be Emma Albet, the mother's, date of death. It could be assumed that Emma died as a result of the birth. Emma, the daughter is found in the 190 and 1910 cencus to be living with her maternal grandparents, Caleb and Mary Jane Smith Albert in Illinios.

George Washington Beaver
I believe his information should read that he died in 1923 not 1943.

Thanks!

RE: John Donald Evans
Have you any information about Clara Flanders Evans parents? Would you do a couple listings for them so I could link Clara to her parents?

RE: HIGGINSVILLE CEMETERY
Hi Carol Ann,

I'm not sure where the records are for Higginsville; you might want to check with the Illiana Genealogical Society (http://illianaghs.org/) or the Archives Dept. at the Danville Public Library (http://www.danville.lib.il.us/archives.htm).

I've tried to get back to that cemetery, but each time the gates have been closed so I haven't been able to. It would be great if some Boy Scouts would take that project under their wing, but there are so many needy cemeteries in Vermilion County that I'm not sure if there are enough Scouts to go around!

Best wishes,
Verm Co Saving Graves
