Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lost the love of my life 23 November 2015. We worked on this site together. Our daughter helps sometimes too.

PLEASE DO NOT ADD EDITS THAT ARE INCOMPLETE, for example, birthplace/death place is USA or just the state, also if you don't know the exact date for birth or death don't send just the month. PLEASE DO NOT ADD COPIES OF OBITUARIES IN PLACE OF A PICTURE ON MEMORIALS. I take the time to verify your info just to find you took it from a census or the SSDI. If you look at more than one census it often will have different months. Ancestry is NOT always correct. I look up obituaries and often find the person did not die where the SSDI says they did. People often die at a hospital, nursing home or out of state.

I don't mind transferring memorials outside of Find A Grave guidelines but I do mind when people demand transfers or are rude. PLEASE provide your connection, not just"they are a relative" With Ancestry.com having a link to Find a Grave I have had way too many requests like this. I prefer not to transfer outside of guidelines if you have not been a member of Find a Grave very long or don't ""pay it forward " on here, by this I mean adding names other than your relatives or only names from the newspaper and rarely or never adding photos. If I am related I will not transfer. PLEASE include your #. Adding memorials and pictures I have taken takes time as does making edits. No one is perfect!!!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PICTURES I HAVE POSTED AND ADD TO OTHER WEBSITES INCLUDING ANCESTRY.COM You can add the link without copying the picture.

We enjoy taking pictures, walking cemeteries and helping family find family they have been searching for. I am very appreciative that someone took the time to put an aunt and two uncles who died as babies onto Find A Grave. I would have never known where they were buried.

RE: Elisha Stotler Family
Thanks much for the information. I met their mother and Gail several years ago while I was working on my family tree. Gail had said she'd send pictures, but she never did. Too busy with what life brings your way I guess. I wanted a family picture, one of her Stotler grandparents,Stotler Uncle & Aunt's families and one of Elisha and Christiana if they had one. It is easier to share pictures with scan and e-mail than it used to be. It has been nice to chat with you and I truly appreciate you taking time to help.

RE: Please transfer 6 memorials to me---close family.
Mrs. Rives---Thanks so much for the transfers. I'm sorry about the mixup with thinking you were a husband who lost his wife. Ronnie and my dad used to be real close, and they still see each other once every year or two. Aunt Tiny (Cecille) was the youngest of the three sisters and my gramma was the oldest---and my dad was HER oldest. Did you know Ricky's wife Tammy? She was the one who killed their children and tried to make them look like crib deaths. There has been some tragedy in Tiny's family, but many joys as well. Thanks again for the transfers.

Since you mentioned it, I have one more couple to request a transfer for from Rose Lawn---again---they are out of guidelines, but were a sweet lonely couple who was my wife's great aunt and uncle.

They are:

# 130776164
Goldie Ava Carter (1909-1995) (m:1st--Lawrence W. Coffman; m:2nd--Rev. A. H. Ferguson), and

# 130776133
Rev. Austin Herman Ferguson (1896-1970) (m:1st--Mary Margaret Sewell; m:2nd--Goldie Ava Carter Coffman).

I remember when we attended Goldie's funeral---she died the same year as my gramma Mary Underwood (daughter of John and Mae Browning), who died in Jerseyville. And if I remember correctly, Goldie and A. H. are buried within 20-30 ft. from my great-gramma and grampa Browning.

If you feel it is okay to also transfer these two sweethearts to me, my wife and I would be honored to watch over them and to add to and enhance their memorials over the next few months. Again, our membership # is 47992157.

You and your husband and daughter have our sincerest thanks for your hard work, especially for Rose Lawn. We have had photos of the older of these graves for years, but we have them mixed up in wrongly labeled boxes in our garage. Otherwise, we would have created these memorials ourselves. The fact that you and your family already did this has saved so much work. Your labors are not in vain. They are very very much appreciated, and will be even more well thought of going forward in time.

Again, our deepest sympathy to you in your loss.

RE: Elisha Stotler Family
Can you tell me the names of the girls you went to school with. What child of Elisha do they follow? Mine is his son William Stotler. I know of a son John and a son Edward. Nice to meet another relative. Thanks for your help.

Emma Eileen Rives child of John Emery and Sallie Rives #82351707. I am questioning her birth and death dates you show since her father John Emery was in state Mental institution from 1918 (per WWI Draft card) through 1940 census and he died 1948 Sep in the Institution. She is shown as being age 3 on the 1900 census. Thanks. Lorraine

Julia Woodcock Rives - I believe the info typed stating marr should be 6 Jun 1852 not 1842. First wife died in 1851. Thanks.
