I have always been interested in genealogy for as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have grown up near my grandmother, who happened to remember a lot of family names and stories. :) I credit my passion (or obsession to some...ha ha) as coming from her. I also happen to have a fondness for old cemeteries.|
I have no problem transferring memorials to people who ask. I like to document whole cemeteries, giving me a lot of memorials that I have no relation to. So feel free to ask! :) On a side note, please do not email me asking for detailed info about cemeteries (like who is buried there, etc.). I do not have any specific information on a cemetery, other than what you see on this website. I find some on a map, and some are stumbled upon by just driving down the road.
I also do not mind if someone would like to copy my gravestone pictures for their family trees. It would be nice to receive a credit mention where ever you might post the pictures...but at the same time, it won't hurt my feelings if I don't. The pictures I take are for the "greater good" and I take them, hoping that someone out there will find them...maybe they might even help someone piece together part of their family tree that's been a mystery! :)
My family names: Carlisle, Rosan, Lively, Burton, Mathis, Ussery, Miles, Hicks, Lavender, Gustin, Trill, Offerman, Ritter, Wabbena, Sternberg, Tekstra, Doescher, Atkins/Adkins, Paton/Payton, Robinson, Bonham, Cleavenger, Barnett, Crawford, Fuller, Russell, Halfacre (just to name a few!)

Thank you for taking the headstone picture. He is related to my wife.

For the greater good as you mentioned in your bio. :)

No problem. You have my permission to use it. :)

Do you begin to think you are losing your mind after working on Find A Grave for a while? Your memory is not wrong. The memorial for Wesley was one that I had transferred to me by another volunteer and when you sent me the message that it was listed wrong, I thought you were notifying me to correct it, so I did. That's why you found the memorial for him when you went back to post the picture. I know things like that can drive you crazy--sorry. I think your picture is fine, so no need to remove it. Have a good weekend. Again, sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for taking the time to locate and photograph my great aunts headstone.
As you could probably see most of the memorials in that cemetery are related to me. If you would like to go ahead and post that picture of Wesley Trammell to my memorial, that would be great. I will make whatever corrections are necessary. I hope you got alot of pics there for my memorials. Thanks for your message. Have a good week--always glad to hear from you.
