Bio

Feel free to use my photos and biographical comments to enhance your genealogical projects.

Find-A-Grave is a wonderful site and it keeps getting better, aside from a few cranky old individuals who rigidly adhere to their notions of right and wrong. It has evolved from a simple registry into a valuable genealogical resource. The links are especially helpful in following families and the biographical notes and photos are often valuable resources. Those who can't afford expensive genealogy sites can access this information for free. I give a hearty "thank you" to all who contribute.

I'm a native of Colorado, growing-up in the suburbs west of Denver (Lakewood, Golden), but I've lived in San Francisco, California for many years. I enjoy creating memorials and photographing stones, especially for veterans, being a Vietnam veteran myself.

I've spent countless tranquil hours at San Francisco National Cemetery and Golden Gate National Cemetery (both very close to my home), thinking about all those poor old veterans who gave their all, and a trip to Crown Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Colorado is always a treat. All 4 of my grandparents and 6 of my 8 great-grandparents are buried there, providing lots of pleasant nostalgia.
