Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."

RE: Melvon S. Runyon
Melvon's daughter Rita Runyon Leggett. I have her email if you would like to contact her personally. I will not post it on this public message. Melvon's father was a brother to my grandfather David S Runyon.
Thank you,
Ginger

RE: Samuel Chopping/Pvt Leonard Whitmoyer
It has already been corrected. Do you have any idea where Leonard Whitmoyer's wife, Sylvia Bacon Whitmoyer, is buried?

Thanks. I've notified the user who posted Samuel Chopping's info. (Samuel's wif's ID # IS one numeral off from Leonard Whitmyer's as you supposed.)

RE: Frank Brandeberry
I certainly will. If I may ask how is he related? I may have information that you may find useful.

Best Wishes,
Felicia

RE: Mary Amanda Teatsorth Cramer
Your are welcome. I enjoy these mysteries, even when they are not my own.
I had occasion to return to the cemetery today. I found a marker for Markley, Thomas W. and Amanda M. It is not near Teatsorths nor Cramers (I think I came across her parents' markers, very worn).
I do believe this is her. Search Familysearch.org. I found record of death of Amanda Markley, born 1862 died 1953. Informant was R. Teatsorth. The marriage record to Thomas states that her parents are Daniel Cramer and Christena Hartgie.

I will upload the photos.

Hey, thanks for doing research for us all. I was curious as to your sources for his parents and grandparents? I haven't been able to find them yet. Thanks for your time.
