Bio Photo Hello!
I have been an avid genealogy researcher for over 35 years and thoroughly enjoy putting my detective instincts to work for myself and others, so much so that it has definitely become my "magnificent obsession"!

My paternal line is of Irish and American Indian descent and consists mainly of Hodge/Hodges, Black, Swartz, Easter, Bozarth, and Roland/Rowland and is mainly found in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska.

My maternal line comes from Germany to New York and consists mainly of Blohme, Mathias, Glaeser, Schureman, Hoberg, and Wilhelm.

I have really enjoyed adding data to the Find-a-Grave site and hope that I may have helped someone find a long-lost relative. If you have any info or photos to add to these postings, or if you would like to have a memorial transferred to you, please do not hesitate to contact me. After all, these memorials do not BELONG to me....they belong to ALL of us.

P.J. has made changes/additions to the software after acquiring it last year. All siblings are shown on a memorial with the one for the individual with lighter text, so there is no error on the data, it just takes some getting used to when seeing them on their own memorial. Hope that helps.

P.J., I am very happy to transfer Rose Mary to you...I believe I am related to her husband's family via Eliza Suzanne Dietz and her husband, Julius G. Smallfield. It would be a very remote relationship. Kathy

He died June 15, 1929. He is buried in the Hobart Rose cemetery listed on Find a Grave. He was my grandfather and after receiving his death certificate I verified his burial.

You have your Anson confused with another. This Anson was not the one who married Mary Amanda Dyer. They both died in Texas having had many children. You have her getting married on her birth date, 6 May 1830.

Bozarth Transfers
You requested 3 transfers for Sarah, Suzannah and Jeremiah Bozarth. I will be happy to consider changes/additions to these memorials but would prefer not to transfer at this time.

RE: William Pearce/Pierce
Pierce is a private cemetery on private property. It is in Forbes township of Holt County Missouri. In the book Gone Home that has burials and family histories and newspaper stories. The following was in the Holt County paper on Sept. 19. 1883: The spirit of William Pierce took its departure for that untried Home of the Soul last Friday at the home of Lorenzo Pierce.the uncle of Charles. Silas. and Lorenzo Pierce Sr. Teas a native of Maryland. His death was caused by a fall from a horse and he lasted but a few days after. Thus after eighty years of life's sunshine and clouds of its joys and sorrow of its toils and cares rest sweet rest.

Item of history: William pierce was the husband of Elizabeth Hartman who was born at Strausburg Pa. Jan 10 1801 and died at the home of their daughter Mrs E H Davis in Monroe La in 1897. They were the parents of 12 children. Their sons Frank Abe Isaac Peter and Arthur in the company with their older Brother Nathan came from Butler co Ohio and settled in Clay Township Holt co Mo in 1850. Their parents soon followed them. After their father's death Frank sold his farm to Henry Thurman and moved to Nebraska. Abe went to News co Kansas Isaac to Arno's Oklahoma and Peter to Andrew co Bolckow Mo.

RE: Martin memorial
I just uploaded a picture of Daniel and Roxie to his memorial. He and Dadddy were the spitting images of each other.

RE: Daniel & Alexander Martin
Can you tell me how to remove the comments? I am new at this and am unable to find any specific instructions on the website as to how to do this.

Billy Martin was my father. Florence, his sister was my aunt. Grandpa Alexander was my great-grandfather and Grandpa Daniel and Grandmother Roxie were my grandparents. What is your husband's name?
