Transfer requests will be made within the Findagrave guidelines, for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please request transfers via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you - please include your relationship.

The "Suggest a Correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above transfer guidelines.

I am trying to update my memorials as time allows; creating links and adding obituaries. Many of my memorials were created before the link feature was available (about 2008).

Spending time on FAG is a lot of fun, but the best part is meeting so many wonderful people, like you. My daughter Courtney and I have been working together for 25+ years on our family's genealogy. Over the years we've discovered some exciting and unknown information on cemetery headstones. We really enjoy spending time wandering through cemeteries absorbing the history that they alone provide.

After finding out first hand how important headstone information can be we decided to record local information in the hopes that we would be able to help someone else. If you run into a friend or relative through our listings please let us know. I will be happy to make any corrections or additions you feel are necessary.

We may not have known each and every individual personally, but we are touched by each entry we have left and realize that our oneness is our common bond. May you find comfort and happiness each and every day of your lives.

Please stop by to leave a token for:

My father: Robert Caple

My sister-in-law: Kris Caple

Campbell/Miler marriage
I found a clipping in the "Pauls Valley Democrat" about the wedding of James Campbell and Pearl Miler. It was dated Dec. 22, 1910 and stated they were married Dec. 20th (the memorial says they married the 28th). You can see the clipping and make a copy of it here if you want. Would you let me know when you copy it, so I can remove it from my website?

Elizabeth Caples Brock 155022199
If you look at your memorials for Robert Green Caples, Sr. and his wife Matilda Eleanor (Tracy) Caples, you will see that I have linked them to their daughter, Elizabeth (Caples) Brock. You mention Elizabeth by name.

My husband and I are documenting burials at Mount Olive Cemetery in my husband's hometown, Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas. We found Elizabeth's broken stone, and for some reason, I was fascinated with her.

Information was easy to find, as her headstone identifies her husband, Benjamin H. Brock. He was a Kansas Territorial Legislator, and biographies for him are readily available online through Google. They identify his wife as Elizabeth Caples, whom he married in Tuscarawas County, Ohio before coming west.

Elizabeth and two of her daughters are all here, and I would be happy to transfer them to you as they are members of your family, not mine. In a case like this, I don't believe adhering to the "direct within x generations" is necessary or even reasonable.

Just let me know.

Burnett family
It appears that two Burnett families traveling the same routes west named their children identical names... leading to a lot of confusion for their descendants! There is another girl named Isabell Burnett in Texas in 1880, only this one is living with her grandparents in Tarrant County rather than with her new husband! The one I am seeking is a cousin of our direct line, and I obviously was provided incorrect information about her husband and children (as I was told they were the same as the husband and children for YOUR Isabell Burnett). Sorry about the edit request!

RE: Otto B Blagg
You are very welcome. It was a pleasure to find Otto Blagg. I should have also added that on the cemetery papers of the plot areas, next to Otto is what I assume his wife but possibly a child. There are two additional names which are similar to one another. But there are two dates as well. So it may be two people besides Otto. I didn't ask. Just noticed when I was searching for the grave. But here they are.

Emma Gladys Blagg 1/11/88

Otto B Blagg 7/20/76

Emma G Blagg 10/20/76

That is how the names are listed on the cemetery plot records. Hope it helps you with your research.
