Hi I'm Randal Eugene Waldon son of Linda Lou and Donald Eugene Waldon.
I was born 30 Nov 1962 in Crawfordsville,IN. I moved to Norfolk,Va in 1983 when I joined the U.S.Navy. I stayed here after the service and raised a family.
I purchased two plots in Roachdale Cemetery next to my Mom & Pop Burger, Grandma & Grandpa Bachert & My Aunt & Uncle Ken & Bonnie Dedic.
I;m researching my dads family, Walling, Wallen, Wallin, Walden, Waldon, Barker,Gossett, Martin, Coltrain, Todd, Gill, Zachary, Baldwin, Norton, Stamps, Black, Debord.
my moms family, Gowin, Eggers, Keck, Spencer, Blanton, Ragland, Debery, Miller, Sutherlin, Scott, Tatum, Gordon, Steel, Young, Sanders, Gorham, Chavers, Lame, Hines, Anderson.

While exploring a cemetery in Martin Co IN I stumble upon reference to Conrad Keck 1755-1836
and his wife Mary Ann Butcher both buried Claibourne TN.
His children all born TN. However, some of them are buried Williams Cemetery Martin Co IN.
and some of his grandchildren are buried there also.
Many of them are connected to our Edmondson family of Martin Co Indiana who came to IN from Knox Co TN abt 1820, as well as other direct line families of Martin and Daviess Co IN
We seem to connect to a Andrew River Andy Edmondson b 1796-1869 m Susannah who hook up to these Kecks. Of 26,000 Edmondsons in our FTM, he is not there!
Any of you Kecks out there help me fill in the missing links? Share all. See my Ancestry tree Carr/Edmondson by searching John Edmondson 1786-1856 descend from John Edmondson (Quaker from Eastern Shore of MD)

| Charles Lee Keck
Just an addition for Charles. Ethel Cora Suiter Keck (1901 - 1986) was Charles' second wife. His first wife was Adah Walter Rogers (1901-1918) daughter of Walter Rogers and Leonia Shields. They were married on Sept.8,1917. Adah passed away on Nov.28,1918. I presume they had no children together. At least, up to this point, I have been unable to find any evidence of children from this marriage. Just an FYI. | | | Carol Miller Lipps
 | Sylvan Ray Sutherlin
Hi Randal,
I would like to tell you that Sylvan Ray (my great-grandfather) also had a son. Audley Wayne Sutherlin was born in 1905 in Centralia, MO, as were the two oldest sisters. Sylvan "Ray" and his wife Edna had moved to the "wild west" of Missouri and had property there. Before Helen, the baby was born, Ray became ill and the family came back to Indiana where Ray died at Methodist Hospital in Sept. 1909. I will have to contact Audley Wayne's son to get his year of death (probably mid to late 1980's). Just a note of interest: Audley Wayne's son; Terry Wayne Sutherlin used to do a bit of acting in Hollywood. He had a part in "The Great Minnesota Train Robbery" with Robert Duvall, as well as bit parts in shows such as "Get Smart", "Bonanza" (episode with Jodi Foster" and several others. Just Google his name and it will bring all his info up. I'll get back to you about the year of death. I still have that photo of Sylvan Ray.....just been so busy that I'd kind of given up on this stuff

Mr.Waldon:
First of all I want to thank you for your work.
Secondly, I am not related by blood to anyone on your list. However, my wife is a direct decendant of Hiram Keck and Clemmie Young. I am asking permission to use your information as a citation source as I build her family tree. I work just outside of Roachdale and pass the cemetary every day and did not know all of her family that has been placed for their final resting.

I did a bunch of ancestry.com merging and got down to Dorothy Isabell Gowin Mar 27, 1911 - Jan 20, 1931 before I started hitting "private" not dead yets.
George W. Sutherlin 1787-1841 is my 3g grandfather.
Among his children were Henry 1816-1879, my 2g grandfather.
And Roland 1814-1876, your ggg or thereabouts grandfather.
We are cousins of the "way the h-ll and gone" degree.
On the other hand, it's satisfying to know that we are decended from "Freskin The Laird of Duffus Moray".
I will email you a picture of Duffus Castle, Moray, Scotland.
