Working on photographing gravestones that have not been previously recorded in about two dozen central and northwest Iowa cemeteries. If you find a memorial I've created that does not include a photo, I probably have it and will get it posted eventually unless it includes the name of a living spouse.|
I process corrections submitted through the edit tab several times a week and my memorials include large amounts of data submitted by others. I try to include the FindAGrave contributor source in material provided for the biography.
If you would like transfers, I am happy to do that unless I'm more closely related than you are. If you have better photos than mine, I am willing to remove mine. Please send your requests through the Edit tab on the memorial page.

Hello I am looking for any information about him and Catherine and their kids, this is one Michael interested in. A note we have saying that Wm and Catherine went to Adrian MN looking for a home in 1893

|Nancy Lawson||Duplicate - Rosettie J Hite Myers|
Hi! I would be happy to delete my memorial for 27242648 Rosettie J Hite Myers if "Anonymous" would update their memorial 27202619 with the family links, etc. Or do you know if there is there some way to merge the two records? Thanks.

Thank you for transferring the care of this memorial to me (and for all of your work). He will be in good hands!
|James Odland||Lydia Patton|
Thank you for informing me about the duplication. I have now deleted my memorial of Lydia'.

I didn't find anyone like that in the CW and the 1895 IA census does not have CW info for him. Family trees say he emigrated in 1850 so he wouldn't have been in the Mexican War.
|Linda Linn||RE: Isaac B. Huff|
We didn't find anything CW for him and he would have been fairly old. He might have served in some other war and been given the GAR star by mistake.

We did research him some time ago and found that he was a sea captain in NJ, but did not find anything CW for him. I would guess that someone saw the "Capt." and assumed that he was CW.
|Linda Linn||RE: Al Sargent|
I did some more checking and found an online family tree for his father Richard S. Sargent which lists a son Richard A. with the same dates as "Al". Richard A. also got a pension which states that he died in Iowa Falls. In the 1895 IA census he is listed as Ai R or Al R with the same reg. as I found on the pension. Check out this 1895 IA census. I think his name may be Ai https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11829-176360-43?cc=1803957 We did find another CW vet whose first name was Ai.
