What began as a way to memorialize only members of my family has turned into something larger and seemingly open-ended. Most of my memorials are not for my relatives.|
I have done extensive work in the following cemeteries:
Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
East Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Illinois
Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
Marywood Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois
Oakwood Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
Saint John the Baptist Cemetery, Winfield, Illinois
West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Illinois
I have tried to add as much information as is readily available. I will gladly make corrections or add information. I try to process requests as quickly as possible, but please allow the recommended time. Please do not use flowers for these purposes. Doing so is against FindAGrave guidelines. Flowers are to be tokens of respect; flowers left for any other purpose will be reported.
Feel free to use any of my photographs for non-commercial use, but please give credit where credit is due.
Thank you to those who have added photographs and flowers to my memorials. They are appreciated. Please add appropriate photographs to any of my memorials, and I would very much like to know that you have done so. I would like to see the photographs myself.
Out-of-guidelines transfer requests will be evaluated individually. Please do not take me to task if I do not transfer when such a request is made. Inappropriate or abusive comments will be reported.
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

Thanks for the correction. I got that information from another site and didn't even recognize the conflicting information in the obit. I have made the corrections.

Thank you for all your hard work. William and Ida Oesterreich, Children, Walter J Oesterreich [1896-1937 ]. He's not there son. The right son is Walter J Oesterreich [1896-1978].

Many thanks for locating the burial place of John Burnett (Memorial# 93307305). His Death record does show born at Raxford, Devon - but I believe he was born at Ruxford, Sandford, Devon.
Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for putting up the memorials for Minnie and Friedericke Mueller. According to a map I now have for Lot 149, those appear to be the only two headstones on the lot but there are 11 graves there, Minnie Miller's being one. I now need to try to find the correlation between them all.
I will cancel the picture request since it appears that there is no stone to photograph.
Thanks very much for continuing to look.
Thank you so very much for the photo of the headstone for Frederick Schanke.
Thank you for volunteering to take pictures for Find A Grave. It helps so many people who cannot get to the cemeteries.

I am glad I could help. Sorry the quality is not very good. The "Heaven" level is quite high and was hard to photograph. I wasn't very happy with the end results, but its over 2 hours away from where I live and I wanted you to have something at least.
