Thank you so VERY much for posting the information on John Alexander Whinon, FindAGrave # 92497002.
Are you, by any chance, part of this family? His grand daughter lives in California and has been searching for him and his wife, and trying to find the family. If you are part of this family, I would LOVE to get the two of you in communications.
I am not finding John's wife, Sarah, in this cemetery. Can you help me find her? I will look back in Mississippi, now that I have the spelling of that last name, which changed with every census record.
Is he buried in Louisiana, rather than Mississippi?
Thank you again, as it is MUCH appreciated.

|Joseph Mann||Naomie Wood Scott|
I am trying to locate the gravesite of Naomie Wood Scott at Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, but I am having difficulty in locating her.
Do you know the name of her husband? That may provide a clue. Do you have her obituary which indicates she is at Greenwood?
Any additional information would help in locating her.

Again, I apologize for sending so many edits. I am impressed that you have worked them down to 25. I thought that it might help if I explained the sources for my remaining edits.
Pauline Voisin: her obit in the Times-Picayune says that Pauline Leathers Voisin died February 5, 1971 at age 73. Interment in Garden of the Pines Mausoleum. The 1900 Census indicates that she was born in April 1897.
John Joseph Dudley: I reference the photo of his tombstone.
Rea Childs Cusachs: I'm not sure about the day of her death, but as to the month and year - I reference the Social Security Death Index and the photo. Note also the birth year in the photo.
Inez Fernandez: Social Security Death Index and St. Tammany Parish Tombstone Transcription
Leander Fussell: Tombstone photo.
Eulalie Adams: Obituary in Times-Picayune
All Others: I refer to the St. Tammany Parish Tombstone Transcription Project
|Peachy Pringle||Garden of the Pines Cemetery|
We have begun a project to photograph Garden of the Pines Cemetery in Covington, Louisiana. I am finding that in several cases your dates differ from the tombstones and from the St. Tammany Transcription Project by exactly 4 years and 1 day. It must have been caused by a computer glitch or something.
I will be sending you several edits - just thought that I should explain why.
