You are welcome to use any photos that I have posted to Find A Grave but please cite me as the source.|
I would love to hear from you if anything I have posted/added has been useful.
Feel free to let me know if you have any additions or corrections to any of the memorials I have added, however, please use the Edit tab. I do not intentionally duplicate memorials, so if you find a dupe, please let me know...it was definitely an accident.
I will transfer memorials in accordance with F-A-G policy "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." Please state your relation in your transfer request.
I will not add obituaries to memorials as it goes against F-A-G rules. However, if you would like key facts or information from an obit added, please send that information and I will be happy to add it.
I will no longer make links to memorials with "burials unknown". However, I will make annotations in their bios to indicate that linkage. The point of Find A Grave is to "find" the grave.

|Carol ||Dale Currie|
The Dale Currie sight is a duplicate. One was put in for him in 2008. If you would like to you could put the picture of his stone on the first sight and delete yours.

Thanks for taking the time to get the photo. It is greatly appreciated.
With Leavett I am basing it on what his obit said, that they brought his body there. Plus someone created it and must have seen it there, just no pic.
Thanks a lot
|Jonathan Laing||RE: FAG Correction - Frank Mattison|
His obit states only that he was buried in Sterlingville. The challenge is which site, Gates or Savage-Varley which are only just down the road from each other. He could have been in Sandy Hollow too which is where his sister is buried, but I live too far away to check myself. I checked the site that has all the burials from Fort Drum as well and had no luck. Being that his burial is recent 1914 I would expect that the stone if there was one should be in a readable condition. By linking them, at least we can have some way to tie the family together for now. If someone finds him, we just need to change the burial information on his record with I have.
Here is the obit
Pleasant Street, LeRay, Feb 24 At his home in Gardnerville occurred the death of Frank Mattison, aged 51 years, following an illness of several months. Death was due to Bright's disease. The funeral was largely attended at the residence at 2 o'clock, Sunday afternoon. Rev. B. F. Giegler of Philadelphia, officiating, Interment was made at Sterlingville.
Mr. Mattison is survived by his widow, three daughters, Misses Grace and Alice Mattison, and Mrs. Louis Briant; Five sons, Ray, James, Elmer, Arthur and Leon, Also by two sisters, Mrs. Henry Willard of Theresa and Mrs. Stella Wager of Sterlingville.
