I like to walk. Traffic in cemeteries is alway light and looking at the different head stones, especially the unusual ones, passes the "exercise" time quickly. |
Photography and genealogy are hobbies of mine and F/G and being a phot volunteer, seems like a good fit and an excellent exercise program.

Hi, there is no need to put the photos in the memorials I added to this cemetery, they were created with photos unless otherwise stated.
I do have lot, stone and close ups.
Finally got Road Runner, just working on adding photos in Oak Hill, Herkimer next one will be Fly Creek.
Thank you Ingrid.

I created a memorial for his wife Martha and daughter Fayette. I also put in a photo request so that you can claim it and upload the photo from James Walrath to the other two. Thank you!

Hello Jim, I submitted an edit to list his full date and place of birth and the month and day of his death. The memorial lists 1913 as his year of birth and the headstone photo appears to be 1913. But his obit appeared in the Albany Evening News on December 6, 1914. He died December 1st at the Soldiers Home in Bath NY.
He served in the 133rd NY Regiment, Co. K, in the Civil War. I added a photo of the regimental flag to his memorial.
I'll type up his obit and send it to you, please add it to the "Bio"section of his memorial.
Thanks for having created his memorial. Paul Turner

|Deborah Nelson||thank you! once again|
Thank you once again for the photo of yet another of my ancestor grandparent. Electa Ingalls Pierce.
May I use her headstone photo with credit to you in my D.A.R. application? (her father - Stephen Ingalls was a revolutionary war patriot).
Thanks for all you do!
|Deborah Nelson||Thank you!|
Thank you for the photo of my great grandparents Orrin Ingalls Hanor and his wife Cora Eizabeth Scramlin Hanor's headstone. Its too bad the carver mis-spelled Orrin's first name. I can't remember how much it cost us to have a different relative's corrected.. it wasn't inexpensive. several of us pitched in $50 each to have the other stone corrected. As always I do appreciate all you do!
