Bio and Links
Bio Photo I retired in April 2005. I started doing genealogy in August 2005. It all started with my wife, Dianne,(Dianne E. Smith) and her interest. I've enjoy traveling to many cemeteries. Dianne would say, "My best friends were all cold". She passed away, November 12, 2007.

I have since married Bonnie (Snow) Johnson in 2009. I told her I would do my best NOT to let grass grow under her feet. Together, we enjoy "grave searching" for others as we can.

If you would like to use any photos I may have posted, all we ask if you give credit to us something like, "Photo courtesy of FindAGrave.com member #47060899".

Capt Abiel Lovejoy
John, I'm curious as to why you created a memorial for Capt. Abiel Lovejoy at the Lovejoy cemetery in Albion?

From the research I have done, Capt. Abiel was buried in Sidney on his farm (near the Kennebec River).

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Ray Henry

Find A Grave Memorial# 57622966
lists death as 11 July 1826

Is there any way you might find an age at death or a year of birth for him? Or a photo of the stone.

Numerous people think he is the same man who lived in Portland Maine but that is 190 or so miles away from this burial.

He maybe my ancestor or those other people who...

Thank You John, appreciate your time and efforts for FindaGrave. Beryl Meehan

RE: Dennison Marker Photos
My pleasure, let me know if I can be of any further assistance. I'm regularly in the town offices, libraries and cemeteries of the midcoast area!

I have been photographing the cemetery and have not run across him I guess my question to you is did you actual see the stone? and could you point me in some direction as to what part he is in? Robert Tabbut
Thank you, John and Bonnie, for the transfer. I'm going to start working on Robert's profile this afternoon.

By the way, I cannot count the times I have used Diane's quote, "Some of my best friends are cold." Too, too funny. Her memory lives on.

Thanks again,

Lisa
