RE: North Haven / Wooster
Yes, I have a ton of information on him. Do you want any of the information or should I just forward it on? Joseph was a private in (one of my) ancestor's company for the defense of the islands, that of Capt Eleazer Crabtree. That was included in my military book. :-)
Do you want the information sent to you or just forwarded?

Thank you so much for your help! If ever I can help you, please let me know.

(Am 1st generation not to have been born on the islands since the 1760's. I envy you growing up there!)

RE: Wooster Smith
Hi! Am distantly related, but have spent 40 years researching all islanders, where they came from & where they relocated to. (Am in the process of writing a book about Early Families of the North Fox Isle.)

The Capt Wooster Smith at Achorn Cemetery is the s/o Jefferson Smith (23 Aug 1804, North Haven - 19 Feb 1892, Camden) & Sarah "Sally" G Thomas (abt 1808, North Haven - bef 1892, Camden). His death record cites burial in Rockport, but haven't been able to locate them yet.

The Capt Wooster Smith at Ash Point is the uncle of the above. Jefferson & this Wooster were brothers. If you would like to link this Wooster Smith to his parents, their info is:
Jonathan Smith: 157420645
Lydia Woster/ Wooster: 157420833

If you click on Lydia's grave picture, the listing of all the children is there.

Again, thanks for your help! Barb

Hi Lin
My sincere apologies, but I put the wrong parents in for Wooster. Please delete my edits. What was given was for his grandparents. BBR

Robert William Harvey
In 1950, Robert W Harvey died in Maine, husband of Shirley Manning. In the Find A Grave site, you mention about his parents and his siblings. No mention of any children that he and Shirley may have had. were there children, please?

RE: Franklin and Mary Witham
You're very welcome. I must say my 16 year old son did that on his vacation and I've already told him it's greatly appreciated.
