Jim's father was born in 8 August 1901 in Warren. Visit my Tree and you can find more info. Just look for either of them. If you have any info on Gloria's family I'd love to hear it. I introduced them and after that first dinner they just up and left and didn't communicate. Maybe because I was off in the Navy. I can give you access if you wish.

She is my 5th cousin 2x removed. May I use her gravestone photo in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit! Thank you so much, Terry

RE: 48149695 UCLE LAURY
Lisa - thank you so very much --that made a nice Christmas present! I showed Mother and she was quite pleased. She knew them well as she was born in 1921 and lived the major portion of her "growing up" years in Blue Mountain with all of her Byrd/Anderson relatives.

I've heard her speak of Uncle Laury all my life. I am a beginner and need all the help I can get. I have bunches of pictures and photos as well as ancestral portraits (large ones). My son gave me a fancy scanner for Christmas that I will need lessons to learn to use. It even receives and prints from my cell phone if they can teach me how to uses it! I' really excited about it.

One thing I can't figure out is how to link siblings if I don't have one or both of the parents yet. I think there's a way because I see them on Find a Grave linked just like the parents. If you know, I would LOVE to have that secret. I have some close relatives I would like to link while I search for their parents as well as some people who ignore the request to link!

Wishing you a wonderful, happy and healthy 2014!

I looked at my request for transfer of Uncle Laury F. Byrd and saw a typo. Sorry for that! His name is pronounced LOWRY (as in ow). My Mother Opal Florence Anderson is 92 and remembers him well; she's always spoken of him and her relatives in Mississippi. They were a very close family. Thanks very much, Nancy Opal #48149695

Lisa thank you so much for the photos of Zeal & Mary's headstone! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I've been there twice myself & somehow missed them. Do you allow use of your photos on Ancestry?

Thanks again!
