Got interested in this in trying to research our family tree after my Dad died and found out no one knew too much about my father's mother's side. Now I find I spend most of my spare time tromping around Western NY cemeteries, looking for my ancestors, REDDEN, GRIFFEN, WOLCOTT,KEENAN, KING, DURFEE, HAND, BROOKS, ALLEN and HARVEY.
If I've entered someone in your family I would be glad to add info or transfer them to you. If you request a transfer please state your relationship to the deceased. And please excuse any errors I may have made and contact me for a correction. Be sure to put FAG in the subject line so I don't delete your e-mail.Hope I can help someone.

RE: Calvin Rickard - Mound Cem.
There is a photo request for a Calvin Rickard in Mound Cemetery, and you created the memorial for this person. Can you tell me what your source was for creating this memorial in this particular cemetery? I have checked all available sources, including the interment journal from Mound Cemetery, and there is no entry for Calvin Rickard (and variant spellings).

From Washington County, Ohio, early newspaper abstracts:
July 29, Calvin Reckard, age 66, died after a short illness. Ref: Marietta & Washington County Pilot of August 3, 1826, vol. I, No. 18, pg. 3, col. 5; and American Friend & Marietta Gazette of August 2, 1826, pg. 3, col. 5

Hi Marsha,

I noticed you left a note on Hannah Waterhouse's memorial, that she was a GG of your's. She is also one of mine...6th to be exact. Would you like to compare relatives?? :)

Florence Mabel Spring Wolcott
Hi Marsha,

I have been trying to get hold of you regarding the Spring family. But the email came back as a invalid address :( would like to add a memorial for my grandmother Viola Spring and for her son, my father, James Regan. It would be nice to have the Spring family connected here on Find-A-Grave with a proper write up for each.
I would very much like to trade information with you regarding the Spring family. Please reply.

RE: Norman Durfee
Yes, he is my biological grandfather. My mother was seven when he died and was not allowed to go to the funeral out of concern for her well being. She had told me I am named after him, Norman Russell. She remembered that he lived for about 24 hours after the accident but not much else. She tried to find where he was buried much later in her life but was not so lucky. Can I assume that you have done/are doing/ the genealogy for your family?

RE: April Stocker
I don't remember if I ever sent you a reply or not, but on this, the 22nd anniversary of her leaving this earth, I can only tell you how special your daughter was, and how she made the world a better place. We worked together @ Wendy's while she was at UNC-Asheville. I only knew her a short while, but she really was special...I only wish that I had gotten to know her better. A few years ago I purchased an old yearbook from her high school from ebay so to have a picture of her...and there are times that I have difficult days or can't seem to get it together, I think of her and what she would do, and somehow things just work out. I wished that I could have gotten to know her more, because she left her mark on me for the rest of my life. You raised a wonderful daughter...always remember that! If you ever need to reach me, please write...muunraker64@yahoo.com. Take care, and Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!

RE: Anna Wolcott- Middlebury
Hi Marsha.....I like the change that you made for Anna Wolcott. Perfect. You noted this possible maiden name that was found on the stone but questioned it and noted your source for a possible different maiden name. I feel much better abt. it. Thanks very much for doing it....
