I would like to thank those that have found there way to my family and the others that are there. I also would like to thank sites that have photos posted of those who are in my list. I hope that you would not mind that I have used them. I have interested in tracing my family history and have a lot of fun find how far I can trace back. I hope you enjoyed stopping through. Leave a flower or note for those that you know.|
Thanks a lot.

I saw a post on Find A Grave that you contributed to. I am very interested in the family of Floyds. Thank you for sharing the information. It is always nice to work with others and confirm my own research. Are you working on the Floyd family, also? Or do you know anyone that is working on the Floyds?
I was born as Marvin Blaine Floyd. My father at birth was William Nathan Floyd. His parents were Harry Nathan Floyd and Margaret or Marguerite Cummins. William left my mother shortly before I was born. I never met him or anyone in his family except a half-brother that lives in this area. My mother remarried Howard L. Byard, and my older sister and I were adopted and our names legally changed to Byard. our I would love to meet and work with some Floyds that are interested in this family.
My ancestors prior to Harry Nathan Floyd becomes sketchy, and it appears that Harry Nathan Floyd may have been born out of wedlock to Boyd Michel (Mitchel?) and Mary Martha Floyd (aka M M Floyd, Martha Floyd, Mattie Floyd?). Mattie could have been a nickname for any of those? If I could verify this, and know her real name, I would feel like it is a more solid connection. Because the parents or Mattie Floyd were Nathan Marshal Floyd and Martha Fittro Floyd.
Harry Nathan Floyd's death certificate have both of his parents "unknown."
Yes, It would be nice to meet more cousins on that side of my family tree. Then I could feel some kind of connection.
Thank you for any help you may provide.

I haven't but hope to get there later this year. Before the last person in our piece of the Jordan Carter family died, I was told the cemetery where Jordan was buried was abandoned but she didn't know the name of it. It wasn't until I retired in 2013 that I started doing research and found the name and approximate location. Her husband, Josiah aka Joseph Carter is also buried there. He appears to be the end of the line. I can't trace any further back and others have tried to help. Thanks for the correction.

Please ignore my request below for Samuel Seymour Memorial 7590853, which is maintained by Find A Grave as a Famous Memorial. However! Samuel is not at Loudon Park Cemetery, he is at rest at Loudon Park NATIONAL Cemetery, Plot: Lot 441 Sect: Bethel
There was a memorial created for him there, in 2001 and that memorial number is 5541616. I will try to contact Find A Grave about their error in cemetery location! Being that Samuel is a famous person, I would think that Find A Grave would have him recorded at the Correct cemetery?!

I see there is no photo of Samuel's stone, only a photo of the cemetery name/gates. There is no edit option to request a photo, so I chose to contact you. Are you able to check on this and if possible, post a photo for Samuel Seymour and his wife ? If you are able to post a photo for Samuel I would like it to appear below his personal photo, which I have added but I see it is waiting approval? Thank you in advance!
Hi Michelle, would you please transfer 22991392

Thank you for transferring Eleanor to us. Also, thank you for creating the memorial.

I just viewed the picture of the old headstone (that one that was destroyed by a car), not the new headstone that was erected to replace it. The old one says 1815 & the new one says 1816. The ground marker says 1815 too. Odd & sad that the new one was transcribed incorrectly. Thanks, will change date.
In my database I have all the side lines plus direct lines to the Hollingsworth Family. I will be sending them to someone, which to you want to have them sent to you or Cliff? It is very confusing to some of the older people to have two memorials on each person.
