Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for many years, and I suppose I can blame that on my Father.. He always wanted me to know who I was and where I came from. It was really important to him that I knew who all of my ancestors were.

I am interested in all of my ancestoral surnames.
Please Use the edits tab on Memorial. That is the only way I make edits. Thanks

Plum Springs Church Cemetery 1 & 2
You're doing an outstanding job in reconciling the virtual cemeteries of this church, at least now contributors won't have to do a two-county search to see if a memorial has already been created for an interment there. There do appear to be two other virtual cemeteries, in addition to the three previously noted, for this location in Talladega County: "New Plum Springs" and "Old Plum Springs". Perhaps if the "SEE:[Alternate Name]" note was added to their listings it would at least clarify the issue, and be agreeable to all.

RE: Dulaney Memorials
I'll work on copying my information for my aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Thanks for the information but all my records show that Plum Springs Cemetery is located in Eastaboga, Alabama, in Calhoun County. Has the county lines been moved recently? Last time I visited my grandparents there my GPS still showed me inside of Calhoun County.

Dulaney Grave site errors
Hello Kitty! Hope you are doing great. Just wanted to tell you that I have processed the corrections that you recommended. I must tell you, you are doing a WONDERFUL job. You are a dedicated person; Your documenting the resting places of so many loved ones is so important to family members searching for their loved ones. Anytime you find an error on something I've submitted, please don't hesitate to notify me. I really appreciate all your well documented efforts.
Have you had problems with adding names to Plum Springs Cemeteries? Plum Springs is almost right on the Calhoun/Talladega County line, which is very confusing for persons attempting to look up their loved ones. I've been told that the cemeteries are physically in Talladega County. Do you know if this is correct? Have a blessed day Kitty, and thanks for all your hard work!

RE: Plum Springs / Talladega Co.
Thanks Kitty, I was unable to attend her funeral, Josephine Hinds Ginn, # 115669423, so I used info that my cousin gave me regarding the details. Did not find a Ford (#115669423) at that cemetery.

RE: Duplicate Cemetery
The Plum Springs Church virtual cemeteries in two counties are a "pickle", to say the least. I've changed A. Maxwell Dulaney's (1921-2003) memorial to the No. 2 cemetery in Talladega County, but his wife's still reflects the No. 1 burial place. The brick curbing and staked barbwire fence visible in the background of their headstone photo do remind me of the No. 1 cemetery, but then I have not been out there since learning of the duplication and having to delete a score of headstone photos and/or memorials.

"Talladega County, Alabama Tombstone Inscriptions of All Known Cemeteries 1700's to 1987" Vol. II c. 1990 by Joe & Frances Upchurch is an excellent reference for burials prior to its publication.

RE: Duplicate Cemetery / Plum Springs
I changed the location of my Plumb Springs Cemetery. Which cemetery was entered first. I was unable to locate a duplicate cemetery for Plumb Springs.

Happy to help. That was an odd angle for a photo. I usually do much better than that. Thanks for taking a straighter photo that could replace it.

RE: Walker Family
You are right on pretty much everything. My mom is Jackie Campbell and my dad is Jack Campbell. My mom is the only child of Joseph Weston Taylor and Muriel Taylor. I am not on facebook but you should receive a request from my wife Laura Campbell. I have mom getting me all the old pictures so that I can catalog them for you and scan them in. Some of my best childhood memories were with my Alabama relatives both going down there and them coming up to stay with my grandpa who lived 3 doors away from us. I look forward to being able to help you further your work in connecting the family dots. If there is also another family reunion in the works please let me know. My email is Thanks again for all your work.

Lottie Sawyer
Thank you Kitty,

I now have even more of a mystery. Charlotte "Lottie's" date of birth is the same at both Cemeteries, February 20, 1859. The Alabama Death records have her death as January 2,1920, as Inscribed on the Headstone at Mount Nebo. At Hubbard it is inscribed as January 28th. As you suggested I will try for a copy of her death certificate
