Thank you so much for taking the photo of his grave marker. I used to be able to come to the Valley, there just never seems to be time anymore! I appreciate your efforts in doing so.

Bennie - it was my honor to sponsor Albert L Pitts memorial - he was a great friend and Air Force buddy and I took the liberty to add some photos of him on your memorial taken overseas when we served together as well being stationed together in the US. Thank you for being a Find A Grave contributor and your service as an Law Enforcement Officer - nobody seems to appreciate the hardships and dangers police officers have to face every day on the job these days. Have a great 2015 - what's left of it - Tom

I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Effie Alford in Fairfax Cemetery (Memorial# 29046456).
I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Alabama Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/ALOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, Bennie Gross
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

You have a lot of Trammell headstones. Are you related to them? Do happen to know where I could get a photo of Elisha S. Trammell b.1802?
Thanks for your help.

Hey, Bennie...My aunt recently passed away (memorial #613610967) Ethel (Holloway) Raye. Her brother was my grandfather, Marion Loyd Holloway memorial#143615246. If possible, please transfer her memorial to me. Thank you for this consideration and thank you for for your dedicated commitment to this web site and your Law Enforcement career. I served 13 years with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Dept here in Fort Worth, Texas. Once a cop, always a cop...

|Jeff Fisher||RE: Fairfax cemetery in Valley, AL (name change?)|
Thanks so much for your quick reply! I figured out after writing you, with some more digging, that Old Bethlehem is also known as Glass Cemetery. I have an old Grand Aunt buried there (Memorial# 14501687), and there are Find A Grave photos on her page already, that you took. I was just looking for these various sites on a map so I'd know where they were. Again, thank you so much for your time and offer of assistance!

Your name is listed on a photo for the Fairfax cemetery in Valley, AL. I was wondering if you knew whether or not this cemetery was called Old Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery long ago? I have a very old relative there (from 1897), so trying to confirm her location.
Thanks in advance!
