I have been researching my Roots since 1974. My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Scroggins Huffman told me when I was a child... "Kathy don't forget the ones who came before, if you do, they will be lost." I earnestly try to keep a record of each person's life, in that way they live on in history. The cemeteries of Old Liberty, near Scotland, Van Buren Co., Arkansas, eight generations of my family, Lost Corner, near Cleveland, Conway Co., Arkansas also eight generations, Robertstown, Conway Co., Arkansas, Walnut Grove near Hector, Pope Co., Arkansas, Cedar Creek and Mount Zion on the Pope/Conway Co. Line, Lowes Creek, near Branch, Gage and Crossno, near Etna, Cemetery Ridge, near Webb City, all in Franklin Co., Arkansas, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas, Rock Creek, near Cozahome, Campbell, Scribner, Landis, all in Searcy Co., Arkansas are my family's cemeteries but you'll be able to find me anywhere on this earth creating memorials and leaving flowers for family and friends, Thanks to FindAGrave. |
My OBJECTIVE like most of the contributors on FindAGrave is to PRESERVE the HISTORICAL RECORDS of those who came before.
My Home Page "Kathy's Kin" on Rootsweb.com is updated periodically. Please feel free to use any data from my database that pertains to your family, that's why I post data online, to help folks find their family.
Genealogy is my "Magnificent Obsession".

Are you going to do a memorial for him? I'm Wayne Morans step daughter. Hiram Gee and Elda Rogers son.

I visited your Rootsweb page and I really appreciated the stories about Sarah and her husbands. It really helped to clear up some questions I had. Family stories can be so touching even many generations later. Keep sharing.

Ok. I created her memorial #157719281 and connected her to her family. She is buried next to her daughter Helen and just behind her son Logan. Thank you for your input.

Thank you for transferring my family memorials
Hello Kathy. We have spoken once before regarding Jemima Franklin.
I have been inputting lines on the free familysearch.org and matching records: census, death, marriages, etc. Have you been on the site? You have a lot of knowledge on some of the descending lines of Jemima, and I found your Grant info on findagrave.
One I just worked on is:
Museadore Caroline Franklin
24 March 1859 – 25 October 1940
Just wanted to let you know if you like, you can add descendants and attach their matching records if that is of interest to you. I like that it is a free site and that the records are there to validate the correct dates, lines, etc.
Kathy could you please check your information on Amanda Elizabeth Bost, daughter of John L. Bost.
Your information posted on Find A Grave:
Amanda Elizabeth "Mandie" Bost Acton Egger was the daughter of John L. Bost and Armenta Alice Driver Bost.
Mandie married 1.Curtis C. Acton in 1908 in Van Buren Co., Arkansas.
Mandie married 2.Exum Claphus Egger in 1912 in Van Buren Co., Arkansas.+++++I believe this Mandie Bost is the daughter of George W. Bost and Sarah Roper.++++++
Elizabeth Acton—(1891 - 1980)*-----63547763
Curtis Clay Acton---(1889 - 1972)-----63547746
Memory Lane Cem., Caddo Co., OK (I think this is the correct information on Amanda Elizabeth Bost Acton.)

|Edward Craft||Philip Dilts Revolutionary War Patriot|
Hello...thank you for your information on Phillip Dilts and family. To add to your narrative, please note the following: Phillip Dilts, my patriot ancestor, served in the Revolutionary War and was a "Forage Master" in the New Jersey line (DAR ancestor registry number A113520). That registry confirms your information regarding Phillip. Also, note that his daughter, Anna, married William Lyons (SAR 170671) who is also my patriot ancestor and buried along with Anna in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. With such interest in searching Revolutionary War ancestry now, it would be helpful to many genealogists to have this information regarding Phillip Dilts and William Lyons
Thank you very much for the postings...Ed Craft in Virginia....formerly of Fayette County, Pa.

Ms. Kathy I am a descendant of Amos and Mary Roberts. Are you kin to them as well? Would like to compare notes if possible. Thanks!
