Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband, Morris Hudson, passed away in June 2009. He had been on the Owensburg Cemetery board for 20 years. He and I took care of the plot plan, met with people and helped them with their concerns, and he spent a huge amount of time helping to keep the cemetery clean. For many years, he spent some of his Sundays cleaning up the cemetery. When Dale Fields, another person who took great care of the cemetery, asked Morris if he would take care of the plot plan, the plan was on a large drawing. I put the information from the drawing on a computer file. Morris walked the cemetery at least three time to update the plot plan.

It was because of Morris' interest in Owensburg Cemetery that I became involved in its care. Morris kept copies of obituaries of people buried at Owensburg and that is where I got the idea for a book about the people buried at Owensburg Cemetery. Morris was able to read the first rough draft of the book. I wanted to dedicate the book to him but that didn't happen. I do dedicate my efforts on the book about Owensburg Cemetery to him.

I recently compiled and edited a book about Mount Olive Cemetery in Lawrence County, Indiana. I dedicate my efforts on that book to my husband as well. I don't think I would have ever gotten very interested in cemetery care without his example. The book about Mount Olive has 163 pages of text and there were several people that helped a great deal. Couldn't have done it without them.

Thank you for your generosity in transferring:

With your help, I have successfully connected her with her father and three siblings. As I receive more information, I will be adding it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

RE: Anna Blanche Sears Fields memorial
Anna Blanch is my great grandmother. I'm new to Find A Grave. I don't know what is all entailed of taking over a memorial. But I would be happy. To I live here in Lawrence County and am close to the cemetery most of the Sears are buried. Thanks for any info.

Grissom research
Hi Sandra,
I don't know if you remember me, but we talked several months back about my research on my Grissom roots. Anyway, I'm still at that brickwall with my Nancy Grissom and James Mundy dilemma.

I'd like to purchase a copy of your book. Please send my information.

Thank you, Julie

RE: Mount Olive Cemetery, Lawrence County, IN
The majority of my third generation Blake's are from Indiana. I am having a heck of a time trying to put my three "missing" Blake's together so I can complete my Family Tree. It would probably be a good idea of me to purchase that book!! I am sure it is well worth the money with all the info there is in it. I will definitely put the word out. Thank you so much for being so kind and informative!! Debra

Fountain Wagoner (Waggoner)
He again Sandra,

I truly don't know what to do about this one. I found his parents (I think) and their last name is spelled Wagoner and a sign says Wagoner Cemetery. Also his dad's name is Alexander (not Elec) and his mom's maiden name was Coate (sp?), not Couch. It is all very confusing to me. I saw your last message after I had already replied to you about the previous one. Is there any chance you want him transferred over to you? Let me know if you do. I will add the additional info you sent.
