Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started adding memorials to Find A Grave because I believe that everyone should be remember, even if there's no one left to mourn.

I'm using cemetery records to add memorials to Find A Grave. I'm also adding headstone photos, obituary transcriptions, and family links when possible.

If you have any questions, want to add any information or links, or correct any information, please use the 'Edit' to send the request. It makes it so much easier.

With permission, obituaries on the memorials that I've created have come from published obituary books written by the now late Wendell Tombaugh and Jean Cragun Tombaugh.

HAPPY hunting....

wharton siblings
On the page for Wm. B. Wharton under Siblings
the name of one has been omitted, that of
my father Harmon Wharton 1893-1946. My father
was the son of Wm. Milton & Eliza Thompson Wharton,
and the brother of Wm. B. Wharton.

William Harrison Wood (1819-1866)
Hello April, I believe this William Harrison Wood born 10 Apr 1819, died 7 Sep 1866 to be the younger brother of Joseph T. Wood born abt. 1799 to Christopher Stark Wood born 9 Mar 1772, died 19 Nov 1855 and married to Mary Ann Turner born 15 Mar 1779, died 16 Feb 1844. If William H. Wood mother was Martha Davis born 1808, she would of been only 11 at his birth. Christopher Stark Wood was my 4GG on my mothers side of the family and died from a gunshot wound while visiting his family in Athens, Fulton County, Indiana and was interred in Hoovers Cemetery. I just visited the Family plots on 10/15/2016. Christopher Stark Wood 's wife is interred in Berryhill Cemetery off Berryhill Road just of Bluelick Road in Bath Township, Allen County, Ohio very close to the original homestead established in 1824 and memorialized by an Ohio Historical Marker. Christopher Stark Wood and his sons Joseph T. and John G. owned adjoining property on Bluelick Road on the north side of road. Many thanks for your hard work and efforts. Dave

Alice Brown Flora
I just wanted to add a child's name to your information. My great grandmother was Julia Flora Justus and she was Alice and John Flora's daughter. She passed away in 1947 in Michigan. Not sure why it wasn't mentioned in her obit.Thanks.

Lewis McCrosky
Hi April,

I don't know if you are related to the McCrosky family or not but I am trying to find out more about Nancy's husband mentioned in her obituary. I am trying to find out what happened to him, when and where he is buried. Do you know anything about him? Maybe someone who reads this might have information. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks,

G.D. Cross
