I was born and raised in Clear Creek Township, Huntington County, Indiana. I have been gathering information on the Eckman, Fine, Lahr, Shultz, Sloniker, Whitestine, and Winebrenner families since the early 1980s. My family file currently contains over 25,500 names and continues to grow.|
PHOTO CREDIT: You may use the tombstone photos that I have posted to memorials if you will cite this source statement: "This photo was taken by Find A Grave contributor Indiana Bill who posted it to Find A Grave memorial ##########." To use my tombstone photos without this citation violates U.S. copyright law, Find A Grave guidelines, and misleads others into believing that you were the photographer. Please do not use any of my person or family photos without first asking permission to do so.
TRANSFERS: Transfers will be happily made if they are direct-line relatives--your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. Please request qualifying transfers by using the memorial's Edit tab and the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link. Your relationship to the person involved must be included in the transfer request. Please do not use a Public Message for a transfer request.
For persons outside the transfer guidelines, please use the Edit tab on their memorial to submit any corrections or additions using the links found there. I will gladly consider adding information to a person's Bio field or Note field if you will send the information using the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link.
FLOWERS: Find A Grave guidelines specifically state that biographic and obituary information should not be included in Flowers. I will gladly add biographic and obituary information if you will send it to me by using the Edit tab and clicking "Suggest any other correction or addition". Please omit the names of living persons when sending biographic or obituary information.
OBITUARIES: Please do not add photos of obituaries to my memorials as it violates Find A Grave guidelines if names of living persons are listed in the obituary. If you send the obituary information to me in typed form using the Edit tab, please note that I will edit out the names of living persons to protect their privacy. In some cases, I may be able to determine if a person listed as a survivor is now deceased, but if I cannot, their name will be edited out. Please include the source of the obituary information.
ADDITIONS & CORRECTIONS: Updating names, dates, places, and parent/spouse links, etc. is now easier than ever under the new edit system. Before sending an edit for any of these items, however, please double-check your research to be sure that the information you are sending is accurate. If you do not have reliable sources that confirm the data, please don't send the edit.
DUPLICATES & CORRECTIONS: I make every effort to avoid duplicating memorials and to provide accurate data in my memorials. If you spot a duplication or an error, please tell me so I can remedy the situation. If you have an error correction for a memorial, simply use the Edit tab on the memorial and choose the appropriate item for entering the correction. If you are notifying me of a duplication, be sure to use the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link under the Edit tab.
PUBLIC MESSAGES: If you send me a public message about a specific memorial, please be sure to include the memorial number in your message.
NOTICE: I'm sorry, but I will not consider updates, corrections, additions, or notice of duplication, etc. from "visitors" who are not members of Find A Grave or are members but are not logged in.

|Sue Allen||RE: Clara Freds (Smith) duplication|
Sarge corrected the grave location for Clara. Would you put your tombstone pic for Ira & Clara on Sarge's Freds entry & then take your dup off?
|Sue Allen||RE: Clara Freds (Smith) duplication|
Was wondering if the tombstone photo you took was in Star of Hope or Barnes Chapel as her obit says. Sometimes obits are wrong as to burial or after they say a certain cemetery they are actually buried elsewhere.
|Vernon W. Goodrich||RE: Frank B. Duncan (72930401)|
Yes, I see what you mean.
|Vernon W. Goodrich||Frank B. Duncan|
Do you think, Frank B. Duncan, 72930401, could have been married to, Edna May Goodrich, 47380696, who is buried in Cedar Lake Cemetery, DeKalb Co., IN. She died young at 17 Yrs. the same year she married a Frank Duncan.
Edna May Goodrich is my, 1st cousin 2x removed.

|Shari Milks||F. Bremer obituary|
I believe this is the same F. Bremer. It was in a Manitowoc Wisconsin German newspaper. Apparently he lived here for some time. Shari Milks, webmaster http://www.2manitowoc.com
Fritz Bremer died in a fall from a wagon in Crown Point, Indiana. He formerly
had a meat market on Washington St. More news about the death in the newspaper of
6 Sept...he was buried at Crown Point.

|Theron & Helen Smith||Floyd Chapman|
Thank you for notifying me of the duplication. I first put him in as "Allen", because that's the way the obituary had him. That's why I didn't see the memorial. Then someone told me his 1st name was "Floyd", but I forgot to check for that name.
|Cheri White Gobin||Memorial # 88186997|
I wanted to let you know that there is an error for the parents listed for Stewart Stowell; Memorial # 88186997. Stewart's parents are actually Loren Lorenzo Stowell and Emily A Hyde. I have not yet found memorials for his parents to reference; however, I can send you sources for proof of this information. The parents listed on Stewart's memorial are actually his half-brother and sister-in-law. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Dale lee Summers. I left information on this memorial. Would you please connect him up with his parents. Forever grateful.

Thank you for adding the headstone pic to Maxine Wiley and for advising concerning the location of her final resting place. I have updated her memorial to reflect the location of her grave.
