RE: Daniel Peck
Four generations means four generations of people from where I am. My third great grandfather is included in that.

I have been very neutral in my conversation with you, even though I find your responses to be rude. I think it's quite sad actually, that you have misled probably hundreds of people about their ancestry through not providing any disclaimer about the validity of what you are posting.

If you were to actually read my posts, you would see that I have given you what I would like posted several times. You are choosing to improvise in your own words, which is what I object to in the first place.

Thank you for the clarification. I had seen the records for Phebe, but I wasn't sure if there was a connection. Kate

RE: Daniel Peck
This is my second request to please transfer the memorial. He is my 3rd great grandfather, which you know is not too far back in my tree. I have stated exactly what my concern is, Skye. You gather other people's undocumented work, place it in the bio area without citing where you got it, which makes it look like you wrote it. That is called plaguerism. You have added birth and death locations and other information that is not known or posted on most people's trees because they are best guesses. If people take that information as proven, the search in other possible locations stops, and it lessens anyone's chances of actually finding the real answers. Quite honestly, you are not a member of our family and I don't understand your obsession with holding memorials hostage as you do.

It would be preferable to say "the following is compiled from I disagree with generally accepted. Perhaps it would be easier to transfer the memorial to me. He is my Third great grandfather.

Daniel is my GGGrandfather. Please cite the sources, or at a minimum, a disclaimer. Rootsweb is not a primary source and we do not know if your information is correct. There is no record of Daniel dying in Ohio, even though he is buried there.

Nathan Cushman
I have a letter written in 1843 from Nathan Cushman to his sister Desiah Cushman Underhill which was given to me by my husband's second cousin. In the letter, Nathan pleads with his sister to have her take their mother to visit them in Willoughby, Ohio.
Could you please put in a link from Nathan to his mother, Desiah Branch Cushman, Findagrave #80502820 and his father, Charles Cushman, Findagrave #22440016?
Thanks! Ginni Combs
