Bio and Links
Bio Photo We both enjoy visiting graveyards in the Northeast Ohio/Northwest PA area and taking photos of people's ancestors' gravestones. It is a way to "pay forward" and let descendants of these people know that their loved ones will always be remembered. We belong to the Ashtabula Co. Genealogical Society and are working on photos for Edgewood Cemetery to be placed on the Society's site - www.ashtabulagen.org.
You may use the photos we have placed on this site for your research. We just ask that you give credit to the Ashtabula Co. Genealogical Society.

RE: Sylvester and Martha Tinker?
On the stone that lists the children, Austin, etc., the caption on the picture says the children of Sylvester and Martha Tinker. Thanks, Judi Schoonover

RE: Julius Tinker
HI, Effie Maude McKinley married William Julius Tinker, the son of Julius & Susan. Effie and William both have Find A Grave memorials. Thanks again, Judi Schoonover

RE: Julius Tinker
Hi, It makes more sense on Mary and Julius now. She married him before she married Phelps. The only odd thing is Julius and Susan. If he married Effie in 1894 why does the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census have Susan and Julius living together. I don't remember seeing Effie on the census but will go back and get another look at them. Thanks for the clarification. Judi Schoonover

Rebecca Davis (m. to Lemuel Allis/Ellis - son of Samuel Allis/Ellis)
Looking for a solid connection for Rebecca/Rebecka Davis Allis/Ellis to her supposed parents, Isaac Davis & Charity Hall, and sibling, Reuben Davis (m. to Mary Polly Abbott). Reuben Davis was born 13 Mar 1764 in Tyringham, Berkshire, Massachusetts, USA & died in 1810 in Pompey, Onondaga, New York. The will for Isaac Davis names wife, Charity, & children Rebecka and Reuben, along with other siblings (John, Sarah, Mary, Soloman/Solomon, Nathan, Charity, & Isaac)), but does not mention any of their married names, spouses, or grandchildren. Also, Truman Leonard Jr mentions Lemuel Allis/Ellis family and his parents, Truman Leonard Sr & Roxanna Allis/Ellis in his journals with visits and other family history he found (accessed thru BYU Perry Collections). Reuben Davis names his last born, Lemuel Allis/Ellis, as found in his will. My Mother is also a Wing. Thank you! Jackie Coleman otsviolin@gmail.com
