|Lindactr||Elmer A Osborne|
Hi, Are you a descendent of Elmer A Osborne? I have an antique pic of someone with that name as an infant...3 come up in the US...wondering if any of the 3 are the little cutie in this pic. Could put on page. Thanks - Kathy 'KP'

|ashipman||RE: Elias Shipman Question|
Thank you for your reply. I hope you understand that I am not questioning your data at all. I am just excited about trying to make a link myself. I would really appreciate your help and will take you up on your offer if you are able.
I am good until census records listing children end, so I have a clear path to Amos (below). I'd wonder if you can help solidify the connection to his father Nathaniel Avery, then verify for me the lineage that I found online of Nathaniel's ancestry.
Amos Shipman (1815 New London, CT-1886) married to Mary Parker (1815 Ulster, NY - 1903). I believe that his father is:
Nathaniel Avery Shipman (1791 Lyme, CT - 1872 Buckhannon, WV) married to Prudence Bogue (1791 New London, CT - 1867 Colebrook, Ohio). Making Amos him the brother of Elias. Father is:
Abner Shipman (1759 Lyme, CT - ?) married to Margaret Avery (1757 Lyme, CT - 1851). Father:
William Shipman (1692 Saybrook, CT - 1857 Lyme, CT) married to Jannah Brown (1694? Saybrook, CT - ?). Father:
William Shipman (1656 Saybrook, CT - 1724 Hebron, CT) married to Alice Hand (1671 East Hampton, NY - ? Old Saybrook, CT). Father:
Edward Shipman (1625 Yorkshire, England - 1697 Old Saybrook, CT) married to Elizabeth Comstock (1631 Middlesex, England - 1659 Old Saybrook, CT).
As you see, if I can solidify my connection to Nathaniel Avery Shipman, then I am able to get back to my immigrant relatives (which was my original goal). My father had Amos as the immigrant (though he did not know his name), so this has been a much longer puzzle than I initially thought it would be. If you are able to help at all, then I will be very appreciative.
Thank you, Adam Shipman firstname.lastname@example.org

|Carol Hermann||Theodore & Maria Louisa Graef|
Thank you for creating the memorials for my gg-grandparents Theodore Christian Graef (memorial #64877306) and his wife, Maria Louisa Determan Graef (memorial #64877316). Thank you also for making the edits that I suggested.
All the best!
|ashipman||Elias Shipman Question|
I see you have listed a genealogy for Elias Shipman on http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=92080093 .
Can you please share any references you have with me? How was that family history obtained? I am a direct descendant of Nathaniel Avery Shipman through his son Amos, so I am trying to trace my name back.
Thank you for all your work on this and for posting the picture of Elias's Connecticut tombstone.

Thank you very much for transferring Betsy's memorial to my care. I will take good care of it. Also, once again I thank you very much for having created it in the first place.

Notice you have Daniel Noble s/o Thomas & Mary Carroll Noble's son birth date listed as 1889. He was born 1848 and died 1889.
|VirginiaSholinSmallwood||Betsy (Shepler) Darrow, # 64928917|
Thank you very much for creating the memorial for my second great-grandmother, Betsy (Shepler) Darrow.
If you are not related to her, I wonder if you might be willing to transfer her memorial to me?

|Joe Metheny||Alice Evaline Matheny Anderson|
I wanted to link Alice to the rest of her family tree. But there appears to be no way of editing her family information. I am a direct descendent of John & Mahala Metheny.
If you add Johns Find A Grave memorial number 142542035 you can connect with the rest of us.
By the way John and Mahala didn't have a middle name. The "J" and "Abagail" are fictitious.
