Joseph H. Cullens
Just a side note.

My family tree has many Perry's from Gates County, N.C. and surrounding areas who are related to me through the Cullens/Cullins family.

My maternal grandfather was John William Cullins born in Gates.

There is probably a strong chance that we are distant cousins.

To the Perry's

Thank you for your efforts in obtaining the photo of Joseph's headstone. It is a welcomed addition to my family tree.

Douglas Copeland request
Talked to the cemetery sexton. Doug is buried in 279-HL which is a brand new section of the cemetery--not on the map yet. He also stated there is no marker for Doug. Do you want me to capture a photo of where he is buried without the marker??

I checked the cemetery website and there is no location listed. My next trip over there, I will check with the cemetery and find out whats up.

Ella's maiden name
If I am reading this right, you have her maiden name as Creighton. Could it possibly be Knapp?

Re: Lumbee Memorial Gardens
My mom was born in Pembroke, and we go to our family reunion @ Berea Baptist every July after the parade during the Lumbee Homecoming. I live a little over 3 hours away, so I try to take photos of headstones while I'm down there.
