I am 33 years old, originally from Arizona, but I have been in Idaho for 18 years. I met my wife at BYU-Idaho, and we now have two beautiful daughters and two adorable sons. I have been obsessed with genealogy since I was very young, and I am happy to help others find their ancestors.|
Lately I have been getting multiple requests for the same action in the same week. Please be patient. I generally take care of all of my emails on weekends, because I have a lot keeping me busy during the week. If I don't fulfill your request within a couple weeks, feel free to resend it at that point.
I contribute to this website because I have gotten so much out of it for my own research. I love finding records of my relatives' burials, and especially love when there is a picture of their grave included. My contributions are my way of giving back. I'm not trying to get the biggest numbers on my profile, although I admit that I check my numbers often. (I have a degree in Mathematics, I can't help it.)
I try to add family links, places, middle and maiden names, and any other information I can find to each memorial. If you have this information and I have not included it, please notify me through the Suggest a Correction link under the Edit tab. I usually get to them the following weekend. I will transfer family members, as long as they are not my relatives also, but I ask that if I transfer them to you that you be willing to update the memorial if anyone asks. One thing I hate is a "dead memorial," one that the contributor doesn't take care of and nobody can ever update again.
If you find a birth or death certificate for one of my memorials, please send me the link rather than adding it as a picture to the memorial. I love adding these extra links, and I think it looks better than a picture of a document.
I am also working on getting my entire family, no matter how distant, linked and updated on here. This involves a whole lot of correction emails. I don't generally include source information with my emails, because of the time it takes, but in most cases I have that information handy if requested. If you have received hundreds of emails from me, please be patient. I am not trying to annoy anyone, and I am not in a rush to have it done, I'm just trying to help make this site better for future visitors.
When I find a relative's memorial, I add it to my virtual cemeteries under the branch of my family that they come from. As of June 9, 2016, I have 29551 relatives found on Find a Grave. I usually leave flowers on relatives' graves if they don't have any yet, because I don't want any of them to be forgotten.

|Charles Carter||Thank you|
I noted that you transferred several memorials over to me and wanted to say thank you.

Thanks for your help. It works great.

I'm hoping you can help me. I've been trying to figure out how to add death certificates to memorials the way you do via a link instead of adding them to the photo section. If it's not too much trouble could you help me out? I've tried several different things to add them but they don't work so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Unless you have an objection, I would like to place your photo of the Jacob Felix headstone found in the Rexburg Cemetery into his Household Record on our website located at http://www.hancockonline.net. The Felix family is found in the greater OLSON Family on the website. The photo caption credit would read "Courtesy of Find a Grave member Logan, 2009."

Logan, I've been told I need to contact you to correct an error on my dad's findagrave page. His parent, Elizabeth A. Heiss Keesling (148548151) has been entered incorrectly as his spouse. His spouse, my mom, is still living.

Hi Logan, it's me again :-)
Do you happen to have any information on the surname REYNOLDS on her headstone? I have found marriage information on her and Calvin Hayes, Jr.
Was Alice married more than once? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.
