I love preserving the stories, documents and photos of my ancestors and kin. It has been exciting to know that at findagrave I can make virtual family groups and pedigrees with memorials linked together. Family history is a LOT of work but it is fun and rewarding.|
Excerpt from a poem I wrote:
It seems that my ancestors
Gone on before
Want me to remember
That they're something more--
Than names on a tombstone,
In census, or book.
They want me to know them,
They want me to look.

I also continue to volunteer with the BSA (46 years).

Would you be willing to turn over ownership and management of this memorial to me? This is Ann Katrine Cox and she was my gggrandmother. I am the one who added the picture to your memorial. I would love to manage this. Thank you.

I found her obituary as I was digitizing Arizona Record newspapers for the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum, Miami, AZ. I'm trying to upgrade the information in the Globe and Pinal cemeteries. The cemeteries are in terrible condition, but I know how important the information is to those of us remembering our loved ones, and those of us searching for family history. I appreciate being appreciated (!). There are others also working hard at this, including volunteers at the Gila County Historical Museum. ~Lee Ann

Thank you for the info, she is now linked to her parents...thought I had done that already. In regard to her ex-husband, Neal, and wondering about his burial place: I located where he's interred and linked their memorials. You may want to have a look. I sent A Marine's Daughter some requests to update his memorial, as well.

Thank you for the correction! I must have added the photo at the tail end of one of my all-night Find A Grave "parties"!! :)
All straightened out now (I hope!!)

Hello again. Just a word of thanks for understanding. People who do not have CRS just don't understand, regards.

Hello again. Please disregard the info I sent to you. I realized after I sent the info it was yours. I was working with a lady who had entered a Parker memorial in State Line Baptist Church Cemetery and trying to show her your info, this is what happens when you get on in age, my apolozies, regards.
