My husband, John, and I spent from 1997 - 2008 full time RVing all over the country. We have traveled in 31 out of the 48 contiguous states. He is now retired, and we live in beautiful Destin, FL.

RE: Robert Parr
I supervise a website on the Provisional Tank Group that fought on Bataan. Robert Parr has a page on it. Here is the link:

http://www.proviso.k12.il.us/Bataan%20Web/Parr.htm

The high school I teach at is located in the town that B Company, 192nd Tank Battalion came from in Illinois. The old armory is still across the street from the high school. Many of the members of the company were former students of the high school I teach at. Which explains how the project got started.

If you see the movie "Unbroken" the torture of the POWs was a lot worse than the movie can show.

Douglas Brown
Hi. FYI I think the memorial for Douglas Brown 81631099 may be the same as your Douglas Donald Brown 95616556. I was doing some research on my Brown Family line and came across this. Alton

RE: John Bartone
I just talked to the folks at the Hampton National Cemetery and they went thru their records and they have nothing on John Bartone buried there. I think since his home of record was Hampton, Virginia and he was a veteran, it was just assumed that he was buried in a Veteran cemetery. Would you want to change his burial location to unknown or leave it the way you have it.

Thank you so much!! I guess I place much importance on insuring the clearest pictures possible. Didn't mean to offend in anyway of course...Merry Christmas to you and yours. I didn't pay attention to who submitted...I know nothing can be made out from the picture at all...I realize that it was copied from another source...

Ezra Beach Jr. in Wading River Cemetery, NY
Hi, I have found that your memorial (#73919850) created in 2011 is a duplicate of another memorial (#27598421) created in 2008 for Ezra Beach, Jr.

Thank you, Su

Added you as a friend. Saw your response to the rude person. If she is anything like Elizabeth that sent me a rude message she is a mess. Thanks for putting the rude on in her place! I don't mind making corrections but I will not have anyone threatening me to do it. God Bless!
