Genealogy became a source of interest & passion in 1971 when my uncle presented me with a "book" of family group sheets. I have been in the process of filling in the blanks ever since. A wonderful trip to NY & CT in 2006 allowed me to visit the graves of many ancestors & inspired me to take a more active roll in my research.|

You are most welcomed.

If I had known he was a relative, no matter how close or distant I would have transferred to you before, glad he is with you now, better late then never.
With the Sonoma County Cemetery Book being transcribed in the mid 1930's I have to wonder if there was more there or if they just assumed Little Eddie belonged to the two people he was buried with. Who knows.
|Eileen Gillette||RE: Eddie Goodwin|
Thank you for the additional information but I am a bit confused, you have Eddie Mock's father as John T. Goodwin rather than William Mock. The information I have on his last name is from the Sonoma County Cemetery Book. With Eddie being listed as Mock and buried next to William Mock and Mary according to the book I am assuming they are his parents.
Thanks again, always nice to get more information.
That said, it is much easier to have an edit through the edit on the memorial, if you wouldn't mind, that way there is no room for error as to who someone is talking about.

THERE you are~

Thank you so much for offering to share information and filling in gaps. I have been intermittently cataloging the cemetery at Burwood, and often times have very little information to work with. I would be happy to add info or links.

Barbara - I can not find that on F.A.G. or the other names that I transferred to you. You can add "Addie" and link him with the names I transferred to you. - Kathy

Good Morning Barbara,
I just wanted to thank you for all the great pictures on the memorials in Preston Cemetery, Sonoma, CA. It is so nice to see what some of the final resting places look like. I appreciate your time.

Thank you for your interest. I would be happy to transfer these memorials to you. They are not relatives of mine (I don't think).

Hi Barbara, glad I was able to help. As I don't drive I am unable to take photos of headstones for people. I input the cemetery info from cemetery books that I have in order to help people locate relatives etc. This site helped me locate some of my ancestors/relatives so I do this to return the favor

No, I don't believe that there was a photo. The information was from interment records. I copied the entire cemetery, maybe 15 years ago, and did not copy an inscription for Elizabeth. I believe her grave is unmarked. The stones on the lot are in tough shape and I recently worked on cleaning off enough of the moss to try to get better photographs. I'll have to check the lot again, in case one of the small stones, markers, has her name. The deed for lot 47 was sold to James P. Cramer on April 27, 1866. Surnames buried there are Bement, Cramer, Watson, Mott, Buck. I have two people listed as unmarked graves, George F. Watson buried 1918 and Elisabeth Augusta Bement buried 1919. The last marked grave would be Julia M. Watson buried 1916. ~ Alice
