I have been doing genealogy on and off since 1968. The names I am primarily working on are Peterson, Carkin, Wernholm, Leloup, Coutiez, Egbert, and Coleman.|

My pleasure. We've had a few days in the 40's and 50's, so the snow melted. It seemed like a good time to get back out there with my camera again.

Mausoleum at Mercer Citizens Cemetery

No, I do not know if there is any in Mercer or not. There is one in Oak Hill, but it is for
the Feather Family.
I still haven't came across other Egberts. Did
there name change to Ebbert later?

I do not know if John Nixon Egbert is in this
cemetery or not. I looked for his name in
Mercer Co. Cemetery Books and did not see it there.
However, I am trying to do the whole cemetery
and have about 1000 more that I took this summer and am working at getting those put in this winter.
I did not see it scanning through those pics.
What are his birth-death dates? I have probably
1/4 of cemetery to complete taking pictures.
The cemetery books only go until 1978.

If you go to the memorial for the George Lamb who died in 1967, you will see two pictures of markers. One is for the George Lamb 1967, the other is for George Lamb 1925. Suggest you contact the man who put that picture on the memorial and have him delete it. He takes thousands of pictures so it is quantity, not quality.

I found an obit for him in my scrapbook. Are you interested? Nancy

I obtained additional records from the cemetery office. I submitted a correction for the lot. His grave is located in a range that was originally a road that split the section. The range has been referred to as "Road Range" and also "5A".
You might be interested to know that the lot, which includes 2 graves, was owned by "Mrs. Pauline Quinn". The lot measures 6' x 10'. I might be able to find further confirmation, but I would say she's also likely buried in this lot.
