I know what you mean. I have loved Karen ever since I saw a picture of her back in 1971. When I saw her on TV seeing her bubbly personality and her fun spirit I was really hooked then. I wonder how many other guys like us there are. I lived in Southern California during the seventies. If there was any way I could have found her I would have. Of course I would have been scared to death. But you only live once on this Earth. It killed me when she died.

RE: Happy Blessed Holy week Anne
Hi, Bennett! So wonderful to hear from you, as

always! I wish you a very blessed Holy Week!

In our daily grind and preparation for Easter

brunch gatherings, we MUST focus upon what

Our Lord was enduring, especially the road to

Golgatha, and his crucifixion! My Catholic faith

has a special observance of this: The Stations

of the Cross. My husband and I are doing FINE:

money is still tight, which is a trial, but we

DO HAVE ENOUGH. We will be going to a different

cable TV system, to save money. I feel bad,

as one of my nieces is turning 16 today, and as

there were already 2 b-days in February and 2

b-days in early March, the $16 she'll be

receiving from us will be late. AAGGHH!

I MUST FOCUS UPON THIS: She WILL be receiving

the $$$ from us and I did send her a pretty e-mail

b-day card, today! I have had something SUPER

to focus upon: last Wednesday evening, I gave my

testimony of faith to my Christ Renews His Parish

(remember the retreat I went on, in January),

and all were SO VERY touched by how I've clung to

Christ, in all of my trials and been grateful to

Him for my blessings. Also, they told me how

FUNNY I am! There were many laughs, among the

very serious accounts from me, about how Christ

guided me through my problems. It was a VERY

holy evening for me, that made me feel wrapped in

loving support from my sisters in faith, from my

parish. Also, as the 18th was the first

anniversary of my father-in-law's death, the whole

(my sister-in-law flew in from the East Coast!)

family paid rdespects at his grave, after Mass,

then had brunch at Bob Evans, then spent a long

afternoon hanging out, nwatching NCAA basketball!

Bill and I, thanks to our realtor, who has a

monthly Happy Hour for his clients, (and he is

one of Bill's Boy Scouts, who became an Eagle

Scout, with Bill's help!) had some Irish cheer,

on St. Patrick's Day, in a wonderful IRISH bar!

Finally: One is SO GRATEFUL for being SAFE,

after another terrorist attack. Those poor

people, in Brussles...may they feel their

"neighbors of the world's" SUPPORT. I am SO

looking forward to my wonderful family's

Easter brunch! Always such a feast and such

FUN: the little ones have an Easter egg hunt!

Bill and I make baskets for one another, with

our favorite candy, and he gives me a gorgeous

purple hyacinth. We give our mothers flowers,

also: lilies or tulips. THe weather here varies

between spring and winter...today, there was a

tornado warning, in the morning: early for

Indiana! The daffodils have bloomed: SO LOVELY!

Our tulips are shooting up. I feel SUCH A LIFT

when springtime comes! It's my favorite season!

I am SO GRATEFUL for our friendship, Barrett!

Your supportive words concerning my writing are

such a motivation for me to keep doing so, on

find a grave and in my writing projects, which I

pray will be published and on the best seller

lists, some day! ALso, as with my CRHP sisters,

husband and family: YOU ARE A GREAT FRIEND IN

THE FAITH OF OUR LORD, JESUS! Have a very

spiritually fulfilling Holy Week and Easter!

MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU, ANNE

RE: Happy Valentine's Day!
THANK YOU, Bennett for you message!

Knowing how much you love to read my messages

to Christ, Our Lord, telling me they are

inspirational, gives me great confidence as a

writer, and a Christian!

Yes, 2016 is a BETTER YEAR for me and my

husband, after two difficult ones. I fervently

pray it will STAY THAT WAY, so our savings can

increase and we can remain healthy and do something

nice (A trip would be SUPER!) for our silver

anniversary...at the same time, I am praying to

become happy with less...greed is one of my sins.

Yet, Bill and I DO NEED to refreshment of a trip,

TOGETHER...he has his Boy Scout outings and I'm

going on a trip to Chicago, with my mom and some

friends, this spring (WHAT A GIFT!) but my husband

and I need a TRIP TOGETHER, for a long weekend,

or more, as a "relationship enhancer." We're doing

OK, but stuck in the "everyday muck." as well as

sore from 2015 and 2014. Our retreats, through

the love of Sweet Jesus, who died for our sins,

helped, especially for me. Having friends who

are BELIEVERS IN JESUS AS WELL, is a TREMENDOUS

GIFT, which SUSTAINS...YOU are one of those gifts,

and I thank God for you, every day!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

As always, your messages to our Lord are so

beautiful...2015 was a rough year for us, as

my husband's father died, then my husband was

in the hospital, but we are FINE now! Christmas

was great, we have a new nephew (my side) born

last summer and a niece (Hubby's side) got

married, last fall!

I went on a women's retreat, in January, that was

a SUPER experience: I got to get out of the house

for the weekend, made a lot of new friends, and

felt very loved: many letters of support from my

husband, family and friends, as well as those

who'd been on this retreat (it's done by our

parish) before. It got me out of my winter blues

and I felt I was in Christ's arms! We have a

monthly meeting, which keeps us together!

My husband and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day,

with candy, flowers, stuffed animals, dinner out,

and BEST OF ALL: TRUE LOVE!!!

In the name of St. Valentine, who was a martyr

for Christ and Christ who died for our sins,

PRAYERS STILL NEEDED
Hi Bennett,

I am so very glad to tell you my husband is in

good health now! Also, the insurance mess is

cleaned up! HOWEVER: We are in need of MONEY.

As my husband was not working, he missed a

paycheck. He STILL has not gotten it, as the

person who represents the insurance company that

has the form my husband must fill out to get

that money has been gone from work! My car had

to get a new battery, now it needs a new

alternator. That costs MONEY, which we have

LITTLE of. My parents said they could pay for

it, but I hope we can do it ourselves. Also, my

medications, some of them, need refills.

We've had SUCH a difficult month, and NEED

RELIEF! You are SUCH a spiritual man, Bennett,

PLEASE pray for us!

P.S. I love the graphic you have, of Jesus

knocking at a door. I have added it, to my

scrapbook.

GOD BLESS YOU, ANNE
