Please don't request one's who have passed away less than three months, it takes that long to mark graves here.
If you claim a request, do the right thing, try to get it within 3-4 days. The requester deserves this response. Don't wait 14 days and then not post a photo, that is just stupid.
Don't ever tell a funeral home or cemetery office that you are with find-a-grave. You are ruining it for us that just look for requests.
Also, if you see something that has a note with, don't re-request it, that means it has been looked for before, your just wasting time.
It would be nice if you are requesting one of a married couple, if you know the other person's name, to request the other name also at the same time. If you don't know the other half's name, don't worry about it.
If you have an obit for the person you are requesting, it would be nice for you to re-type it and place it under BIO per find-a-grave rules.
Buy putting obits or death certificates on the photo side it takes up spots for photo's. IT'S ALSO AGAINST THE RULES!!!
I can take photo's from most any cemetery in Lexington or Richland County in South Carolina.
Also, I have some photo's from Franklin County, Iowa, Black Hawk County, Iowa, Linn County, Iowa, Fayette County, Iowa, Buchanan County, Iowa and Wright County, Iowa.
I don't mind anyone using my photo's, but not without my permission. This is against Find-a-Grave Policy. Also do not post any of my photo's on Ancestry.Com unless you ask me first.
George and Evelyn Linder Thank you for taking pics of the headstone of George Linder (131290918) and for creating a page for his wife, Evelyn (161694479). I really appreciate the photos!
Could you change Evelyn's maiden name from "Smith" to "Allen"? The obituary info is confusing because her father's middle name was Smith and the last name of Allen doesn't show up until after her mother's name.
Maiden Name: Evelyn Allen Married Last Name: Linder
RE: William Young Thank you Sam for looking, I appreciate your time. Would you mind going to the photo request and report a problem. I have two William Youngs I am looking for in different cemeteries, this will help me keep track of them. Thank you so much for your help! Vonna
Unfortunately Sq 80, has alot of unmarked graves. I am sure you have the right plot number, but there is no marker.
regarding this message, if you go back sometime, please take a picture of the whole plot for me. We might not know exactly where he is buried but having a picture of the area would be helpful in knowing where his final resting place is. Soem grave do not have markers but if we know where a grave is I think a picture of the approximate place can be taken and added to the find a grave site maybe with a note saying that there are a lot of grave there but few markers and the picture is of an approximation of where he is actually buried? Thanks a lot and no rush. He ain't going any where, ya know what I mean? :) Barb
