|I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have a great interest in family history. I would love to help others who might need some photos of graves/cemeteries in my area.|
I am also a 4th grade school teacher. I am married and we have five children and live in Evanston, Wyoming. I grew up in Michigan.
I would be happy to transfer any memorial I have created or delete it if the family wishes.

|Chesnut/Behunin Descendant||THANK YOU|
Garry I want to leave a Public THANK YOU. Recently I was wandering the Evanston Cemetery, looking for one of my Obsessions. Victims of the 20 March 1895 Almy Mine Disaster. I had gotten myself completely lost, looking for one stone, with 8 or 9 Names.
I soon knew I was in the wrong area but I love wandering, so I thought I would have to find it with Cemetery Office help the next day. My previous trip the Overseer, had impressed me with How well he knows every stone I asked for and there were A Lot of family.
Garry was there and asked me if I needed help finding someone. I told him and he took me RIGHT TO THE STONE. Clear across the cemetery from where I thought I was.
He did not stop there. He translated the stone for me. Which described how these men died in English and Finnish.
The next morning we bumped into each other again in the Cemetery Office And he went in search of anything HE COULD FIND on the mine. AND opened the Family History Center in Evanston so I could copy what the Fantastic Evanston Cemetery Sexton allowed to take His Almy Cemetery book to copy.
My husband has Large portion of Direct and many indirect family buried in both Evanston and Almy Cemeteries.
Garry you went far above and beyond being kind.
You suggested the Museum and as the library was closed that day, I went there. 2 ladies there, amazingly kind and they printed up everything they had for me. Diving deeper into a copy of the book you found for me.
Before leaving town, I spent a few hours at the County Library, I have not gone through everything yet, but I think I may have found some original sources.
Garry YOU are a big reason my recent research trip was so Successful. though you did nothing to cure the goose bumps I get every time I dive into that event and my family's connection to it.
THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH
Thanks so much for the photo of Avard Booth's memorial stone. Appreciate the time you spent to locate and upload the photo.

Yes, if you look at your list of memorials, they will show up first in the list (also, you have one that the Last Name is int he Maiden Name field).
Thank you and have a great day.

It is recommended that you put Unknown if a last name is unknown as leaving the Last Name field blank will not allow it to be searched after a certain number of memorials are entered int hat cemetery.
I am doing random corrections of memorials with no last name. Nothing personal, please take no offense.
Thank you and have a great day.

|Abby Henderson||RE: McCabes|
I don't think I saw this message, and if I already replied I am sorry. Yes, I am a relative of the McCabes. Trying to find the lineage is proving to be quite tricky. My great grandmother was Rhoda Ferguson McCabe and she was married to James. That was all that anyone knew for the longest time. Thanks to someone on here, I found a photo of the headstone for James and Rhoda... all that has given me was his middle name. I am still searching for his parents and that is where the McCabe line ends for me, unfortunately.
