Have been living on a temporary bases in the Danville Va area. Taking photos for FAG has been a good way to learn about the people and history of the area.
Have specially enjoyed locating the graves of the Civil War Vets in Greenhill and Leemont cemeteries.

Feel free to use my photos for your personal use.

I know East View better than my old neighborhood, sad but true. I met with my sister in-law today and showed her where Grandparents were buried. Then I took her Salem Baptist and show all kinds of family buried there too. Needless to say she was thrilled.

You're welcome,

Thank you!
Thank you for going out, photographing, and posting George and Ella Baugh's headstone at Leemont Cemetery. I live in Michigan and wouldn't have been able to see it. Many thanks.

Thanks for this picture Ed. I have been adding from obits in the Danville Bee while working on Highland. Sometimes the only way to get the dates are from the pictures because the old obits were very brief and Virginia does not put death records online. I appreciate this and all the other pictures you have taken.
