Bio and Links
Bio Photo My passion each day is to get on Find A Grave and work. Taking pictures of headstones and seeing the lives that were is very humbling to me. I come away from the cemeteries in tears sometimes. I mourn those who have gone before.

I was on a contributor site reading her bio. I want to share a portion of what she said:

"I am getting more and more confused by this site. If people create or post memorials with no OR incorrect burial location and I add a memorial for them in the correct location... I am asked to remove mine because theirs was on first; It seems like there are many rude people on find a grave."

There are many people that want to get huge numbers next to their names. That is not the conjecture of this site. I am here to help others find their past. And in doing that, I help myself in finding my past. If I do post or create a memorial and I don't know where they are, I am in pursuit of finding them. And I won't delete mine if that was the case.

I will transfer a memorial to you, if it comes within the "direct 4 generation rule" which Find A Grave has adopted. However, I look at each request and will decide.

Thank you for all that have contributed to the memorials which are in my charge. And thanks to the ones that take pictures for me.

But I will not transfer if they are apart of my own family or friends. Some of the lines I am researching are Masters, Chamblee, Keith, Kay, Hoffman, Veitch, Harding, Randolph, Isham, Totherow, Whitworth, Cartright, Murray, Magnusson, Bird, Stapley, Bliss, Pomeroy, Cunningham, Roth, Harding, Quinlan and Hannum.

Love my ancestors and the treasures they have given me.

Because of the passing of contributor's Kathy McConnell and ancestorsatrest, I have been given a good portion of their memorials to take care of.

Elaine Berger has transferred the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery memorials for me to take care of.

RE: Electa Pullen Cortrite
Electa's parents were Nicholas Pullen and Elizabeth Burnett of Phelps, Ontario Co., NY. This was a second marriage for Nicholas Pullen and he was fairly old when Electa was born. He died in 1807 when she was only a few years old. Nicholas and Elizabeth had another daughter named Eliza.

Do you happen to know for sure what gender Alma is? Some say male and some female. Also is there a headstone for Alma, or is it an Unmarked Grave? Thanks...just trying to get my family records straight.
