My husband and I have been doing Genealogy for the last 15 yrs or so. We love to walk the cemeteries and take pictures of the Beautiful old stone's. So many, because of the weather and mother nature, are going to be gone to us, if they aren't captured in pictures.|
I have access to many old obituaries from Ozark County Mo. and have been trying to add them to Find A Grave as I have the time to. If I add a picture or Obituary or any other information, that you would like removed, please contact me by the Edit tab and I will remove it from YOUR page.
Find A Grave is a great tool for Researchers, But more than that it is an absolutely Fantastic Place to give Memory to our loved one's.
Thank you FIND A GRAVE!

Francis M Tannehill married Effie L Morey. My line is in the Morey part of the tree. Are we cousins?
I have linked Francis Marion Tannehill to his mother, Martha McKenney as requested.

Thanks for linking William and Mollie. Jayne

Still doesn't like me, the regular email address. Anyway, the question was, are you related to any of the Hicks in that area?
Very curious here!

Well, it is a smaller world than we realize, isn't it? I'm determined to link all the children to him that are his. I sure hope I can accomplish this!
Thank you so much also for linking him,

OH! That's a yippee for me too, Jaynie! LOL Oh, please how are you related?
This is going to be neat to compare and hopefully share photos. I may not have them all but I have some I am more than willing to share.
The Bible the family had says his given name was John Theodore Pollard.
Right off I can't remember if you had full dates for him or not so they are:
Birth: March 22, 1906 Longrun, Ozark, MO
Death: June 28, 1992 Theodosia, Ozark, MO
Would you please link him to his parents?
Father: John William Pollard is 117786177 (grave is not marked)
Mother: Genetta Rose (Goff) Pollard Terry is 21748270 **She remarried after John passed away and is laid to rest in Dit Cemetery, Nance, Taney Co., MO
My husband's grandfather was John and Genetta's oldest son, Harry Clay Pollard who married Rosalie Holt or as some say, Rosa Lee. However, Harry ran off with another woman and had 5 more children with her. Her name was Claudie Hicks and they lived for a time in Oklahoma and then went to Colorado before settling in Arizona. Harry Pollard changed his name to Potter and that's where my husband got his last name. Of the 10 children, the only one left is my father-in-law but he got to meet and visit with Harry Clay Pollard Jr. and his wife, Joyce, before they passed away.
Hope you're following here! LOL, it was quite a trick finding the 'thread'
that unraveled Harry Clay's twisted tale.
Anyway, I'll go look and see what else I can help with, if I can help. This is just exciting!
Thank you, Jaynie!
P.S. I tried to use your regular email address but it refused to be sent. Not sure why.
