Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching family genealogy for many years and also upload local cemetery registers for the cemeteries in our county.

I have no familial connection to most of the people I upload, so feel free to request transfers of your relatives. I only ask that you let me know how you're related to a family. Or if you have a decent reason, I'm good with that, too. If you'll take good care of a memorial, I have no problem transferring if you're not related.

While I have many memorials, I am not a numbers person. I would rather have family members maintain memorials.

I make updates very quickly, and usually do not reply back unless I have a question. I frequently will use the email provided in the edit to respond to a question. If your correction has not been made, please check to see if I've emailed, as I normally don't make the updates if I do not have the question answered.

**Please use the Edit feature on memorials over requesting changes in messages or sending emails. That really is the easiest and most efficient way to accomplish updates. Thanks!**

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates.

Right now, you can email if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!*****

Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall
On gentle hinges it gives, at dusk
When the thrushes call
Along the lintel are green leaves
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Go over that sill
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door.
In an old wall.

Hi Jonelle,
Vern Carley was my mother's brother. I would like to be able to connect him to his parents and the other siblings that I've found. My number is #46950539.

Uncle Vern died quite young, shortly before he was to come and visit us in Hayward, WI. My mother had spoken to him just a few days prior to his death. He and his family were coming to see my baby sister who had been born on 02/26/1965.

Thank you!

RE: Thank You - Memorials: Dr. Albert E. McCallen & Esther C. McCallen
Hello -

Thank you for your reply.

I will be happy to manage the memorials for Dr. Albert E. McCallen and his wife Esther C. McCallen, since I am related to Esther's Barrington family line. Whenever I may connect with one of their descendants, I hope I can then transfer the management of the memorials to one of them.

You have done a great job with establishing Find A Grave memorials and I thank you!

Sincerely -

Thank You - Memorials: Dr. Albert E. McCallen & Esther C. McCallen
Hello -

I wish to thank you for your work in establishing the Find A Grave memorials for Dr. Albert E. McCallen (Find A Grave Memorial# 103001462) and his wife Esther C. McCallen {Find A Grave Memorial# 103001463.)

With the Edit feature, I have added the middle name, Caroline, and maiden name, Barrington, to the memorial for Esther C. McCallen, plus the Find A Grave connections to the memorials for her parents, Alexander Barrington and Elizabeth P. Simcock Barrington.

I am a direct descendant of a brother of Esther C. McCallen, Samuel Albert Barrington.

Also, thank you for the transcription of the Waupaca County Post obituary for Dr. Albert E. McCallen. Do you think the newspaper date for the obituary is an accidental typo - 22 Jan 1919? I have found 3 other death notices (2 in newspapers and 1 in JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Assoc.) which give the year of his death as 1920. To top it off, 1 of the newspaper notices indicates the date of his death as Mon. 19 Jan 1920 and the JAMA notice gives the date of his death as 17 Jan 1920, a Saturday. I would think the Waupaca County Post would have the right date, the Sunday evening prior to the obituary in the newspaper.

If you can help me in figuring out the right death date for Dr. McCallen, I will be grateful.

Thank you so much for all your good work. Keep it up!

Re: Kathy Story
The memorial will stand, as the 2008 memorial was placed prior to her death. This is not looked upon by Find a Grave well. As for contacting the "other" person that is not my place, but feel free to do so.

Hello Jonelle,

I got your message. You do know that according to her obituary the correct legal spelling of her last name is KEDROWSKI. The name on the stone KEDROWSKA is the Polish FEMALE version of the last name KEDROWSKI. In other words and for whatever reason the Polish differenciate male or female versions of the last name. If you want, I can send you a copy of the obit and the post obit description of her funeral. We can then take it from there. You are correct, there is no need for two Find a memorials for the same person.
