Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching family genealogy for many years and also upload local cemetery registers for the cemeteries in our county.

I have no familial connection to most of the people I upload, so feel free to request transfers of your relatives. I only ask that you let me know how you're related to a family. Or if you have a decent reason, I'm good with that, too. If you'll take good care of a memorial, I have no problem transferring if you're not related.

While I have many memorials, I am not a numbers person. I would rather have family members maintain memorials.

I make updates very quickly, and usually do not reply back unless I have a question. I frequently will use the email provided in the edit to respond to a question. If your correction has not been made, please check to see if I've emailed, as I normally don't make the updates if I do not have the question answered.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

**Please use the Edit feature on memorials over requesting changes in messages or sending emails. That really is the easiest and most efficient way to accomplish updates. Thanks!**

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates.

Right now, you can email if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!*****

Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall
On gentle hinges it gives, at dusk
When the thrushes call
Along the lintel are green leaves
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Go over that sill
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door.
In an old wall.

RE: Gordon Curtis Barber
You are vey welcome.
Do you know much about your great grandfather? What was his profession? Maybe his wife was related to Gordon. Was he a Marine? If he served with Gordon Barber you could find out by searching for his name in the Marine Corps Unit Diaries or Muster Rolls available on Ancestry dot com if you are a member, which I am not, or I would look him up for you.
Happy hunting.

RE: Caroline Hooker
Either Caroline's mother, Emily, is buried in another Waupaca cemetery; or Lakeside would have lost all burial information on her mother as she isn't in the paper records they have.

I believe Levi Hooker or someone at the cemetery replaced the original purchaser of the Hooker plots. I ma this conclusion because Mercy Hooker was buried in 1882. In 1882, Caroline would have still been married to Albert Bentley as he didn't pass until 1 Aug 1883.

Caroline was also married before Albert Bentley to A. Berry who died during the civil war.

It does seem there are some record issues with Lakeside.

Albert Bentley, Maryett Bentley, Winnie Bentley, Sidney Bentley and Susan Perkins plots are all purchased by Linal Perkins... Linal preliminary information indicates is the father of Maryett Bentley and Susan was his wife.

This has been interesting so far figuring this out. It started from wanting to first confirm Caroline was buried in 55-0 since you weren't able to find anything when you went out there... Thank you by the way for doing that for me also. I appreciate it.

Caroline Hooker
Jonelle, I updated the plot information on Caroline as I confirmed with the cemetery she is in Space 7. There is some note on their records indicating her headstone is with her mother? Not sure what this means and neither did the person I was talking to... John Clark seems to be buried there in 407-L Space 4, but again with a question mark on their documentation. They didn't know what these meant.

Albert Azero Dake
Hi Jonelle:
Where did you find his middle name as "Azero"?
I accepted your suggestion in Find A Grave. Hope you have a great summer. I have never seen the name Azero
and think it is so different?
Thank you,
