I have enjoyed doing finding a grave.
I love going to the cemeteries and helping others find tidbits of info that might be missing from their family tree. Sometimes all the info might not be available.

Suzanne De Foor
Kennedy Name
Hi,

I've a Kennedy line, and they've family ties in the Winston County area. I'm wondering if any of these Kennedy's in this cemetery are related to my Kennedy's. My father's mother's maiden name was Kennedy, and her name was Odra Celone Kennedy. Odra was married to Robert Samuel De Foor. Odra's parents were Albert Marion and Virginia Alice (Flowers) Kennedy. My grandmother, Odra, had the following siblings: Dona L. born 11/1885 in Hackleburg, AL. Married to Lee Lacey. Pearl M. born 5/1889 in Hackleburg, AL. Married to Lee Mitchell. Charles M. born 1/1892 In Hackleburg, AL. Luther born 11/1893 in Hackleburg, AL. Married a Mary ?. Jenna born 11/1894 In Hackleburg, AL. Freda born abt. 1901 in Hackleburg, AL. Della born abt. 1903 in Hackleburg, AL. Married to John Gibbs. And Dora born abt. 1905 in Hackleburg, AL. Married Vito Cochran.

Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your hard work.

Willie Landrum
Hi Patricia,

I noticed your comment about Findagrave becoming a nightmare, so I'm not sure you are still doing photos, but if you are, I've just submitted a request for a photo at Shanghi for Willie Landrum's headstone. He is buried next to his grandparents John and Clara Oden, who you added to findagrave in 2005. Clara's memorial number is 12629451 and John's is 12629436. Willie wasn't listed in the website, so I added him, but I might have the incorrect year of 1913; it could be 1912 on his headstone. Of course, if you are no longer doing photos, this might be more info than you need (or want :)

Thank you so, so much. Those of us that are clear across the United States and have no hope of ever being able to visit the graves of our loved ones cannot express how much we appreciate you and your hard work and dedication to posting the pictures of their headstones for us to view and cherish. It's a piece of our past we would never be able to touch without your efforts.

Thank You!
I appreciate your page dedicated to Henry Sharp "Shorpy" Higginbotham ... who worked as a young lad in an Alabama coal mine. Unfortunately he died in a mining accident as a very young man, leaving behind a pregnant widow.
