Mabel Meade
I'm the granddaughter of Hazel Twilegar King. Her sister was Mabel Twilegar Meade. My mother once mentioned Mabel when I was a pre-teen and ignored her in the way a kid that age does. Now that I started looking into my family history I rediscovered my Great Aunt Mabel who was murdered nearly 10 years before I was born. I find her intriguing and keep running into a dead end. Naturally the family has passed away and my siblings aren't sharing... I have my suspicions about why if they do know. One thing I hoped you knew was her last husband's first name. The second thing I'm curious about is did the actual killer ever get caught? Or is it still unsolved? Interestingly the Grangeville, Idaho murders were reported all the way to the New York Times and Salt Lake, as well as California and Texas. But it keeps ending with the acquittal of the building owner. Thanks for your help.

Photo
Hello,
May I put your lovely photo of the Church in Westbury Leigh, Wiltshire, England on a WikiTree page for that cemetery? It would dress it up! We're trying to work on the cemetery pages and this is just one step in that process. I will put your name there for credit.
Thank you for your consideration.

Shuford Family Cemetery
Hi. I'm with the Catawba County Museum of History and we are looking for the Shuford Family Cemetery. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2271096). You uploaded the picture of the plaque and we were wondering if you knew where the cemetery was located? We have copies of the original deeds for locating it, but they talk about oak trees and that doesn't help us. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Dear Danette Cogswell,

Thank you. There are over 130 Photo requests there in Dorchester North. Hopefully by placing the Burial Plot on the memorial page others will Celebrate Volunteerism!!!
