When I'm in a sober mood, I worry, work, and think.
When I'm in an angry mood, I gamble, fight, and drink.
When all my moods are over, and the World has come to pass;
I hope they bury me upside down, so the World can kiss my ***.

I wonder if anyone ever has been?

******************************

I’m currently photographing Philips Park Cemetery, Miles Platting, Manchester. If you require a photo from Philips Park if the headstone is intact and can be photographed I will endeavour to photograph it at some point when I work in that section. It's too time consuming to seek out individual graves to photograph, sorry. (I spent the best part of an hour looking for two family graves in L section and in that time I could have taken 100 photos)

If you have any queries please read the following before messaging me:-

I take photographs of headstones and set up memorials based on the inscriptions on the headstone.

I also check whether anyone else has been interred within the grave using the Manchester Burial records website.

However, as I have discovered for myself errors were made by whoever transcribed the Manchester burial records for the website, in that names have been transcribed wrongly and grave numbers have been entered incorrectly. Because of this you are strongly advised to contact the website quoted below with any queries especially if you are of a mind to have your relatives name added to or replace any headstone.

I have entered everything I know about the person from their headstone and / or the Manchester Burials website, I cannot tell you anything about them personally. If you want to try and obtain more information please look on the Manchester Burials website where for a small fee they may be able to assist. If you'd like to visit the Manchester Burial Records Website, please click here

I have also just begun photographing the cemetery at Saint Mary's Churchyard, Moston All the information contained on these memorials has been obtained from the headstone. I have used the FreeBMD website in some cases to establish links.

I’ve come across a few sad graves whilst photographing graves but none more so than the Weaver Grave in St. Mary's Churchyard.

All Saints Churchyard, Newton Heath The graveyard no longer exists I wish it did as a lot of my family were buried there. Whilst creating memorials for my family I'm creating memorials for other people named on the pages where my family members appear. I don't plan on transcribing the whole graveyard. I will transfer non family upon request.

I'm a volunteer I don't work for Find a Grave. I have a full time job and take photographs as a weekend hobby, weather permitting and then spend my free time uploading and creating memorials for where necessary.

Transfers

I will be happy to transfer any memorial provided I am not related to them.
