"My feelings are in each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve.
To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before."

|Alan Wika||RE: Solomon J. Homer Grave Add|
Quite a bit actually. No criticism implied, if anything, Thank You from our family for adding him. I am a direct descendant of Solomon Homer and one thing needing updating is that part of Solomon's younger infant not surviving. In fact, he did and would become my grandfather who would later go on to live a long life, with service in WWII, and would later work for the BIA and is currently buried in Riverside, CA. I may be able soon to add pictures also of his grave and the cemetery. Maytubby Springs Cemetery currently is inside a private property owner's area that he has restricted access to and I am in the process of trying to gain access. That was why I did a quick peek on Findagrave and was surprised to see him listed here. Do you update or is that something we can do? Thanks, Alan Wika

I am doing research on Duncan for a book. He kept a diary from 1840 until his death. I saw the image of his wife posted by you and I would like to use it for the book with credit to you of course.
Do you have a photo of her husband William?
The images looks to be copied from a book but I could be wrong. Please let me know.

Hi, just curious why you added Solomon to Find-a-Grave? Is there a personal connection?
Thanks, Alan Wika

Sorry about that. It's fixed. I had to take it upside down to keep shadows off, and forgot to flip it when I uploaded it.

Hi. If you would like to create the memorials and send me the edit request, that would be great.
|Tony Lacey||Minta Ann (Dunegan) Gentry|
at Fort Towson Cemetery.
Thank you so much for the memorial updates and family links. I have copies of her marriage certificates to Vern Oliver and RM Gentry at her WikiTree if you care to have a look. Her brother Edmond Dodd Dunegan was my great grandfather.
|Paul Rolfe||Margaret Brockman|
If you are researching this Brockman family, you may wish to know, her maiden name is Stoltenberg according to her daughter Ella's marriage certificate. There is a Johannes Stoltenberg buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery. There is an Edward Brockman in Cedar Lawn Cemetery (her brother?) and Harold Brockman in Memorial Park (another brother?).

Could you provide a source for the requested change to his date of death? I am inclined to think that he died on the 9th and was buried on the 12th.

I would be happy to add the bio, she was my great aunt but I did not have a copy of her obituary.
Thanks for providing their marriage date. I am always glad to add information to the memorials.
