William A. Reid
I found a picture you put on find a grave of William A. Reid buried at Damascus Baptist Church in Columbia County, GA
Number is 40270239.
Was wondering if you are connected to his family. I have Reid ancestors buried in Columbia County, but he doesn't connect to any of them.
James and Jane Reid came to Columbia County around 1777. Their children were:
Ezekiel (my line) married twice Sarah Blanchard graves never found
Elizabeth married James Luke buried at home near Pollard's corner
Mary married Reuben Luke, brother of James
Michael married Elizabeth buried family cemetery near Pollard's corner
James no information on him
John went to Lincoln County died there no grave
Gracey married Thomas Hardin buried family cemetery on Fort Gordon recreation site
Jane no other information.

Cornelio Taitano Castro, # 123115910
Regarding your memorial for Cornelio Taitano Castro, # 123115910, the proper name for the cemetery is Mount Carmel Cemetery, as the newspaper obituary states.

However, locally, this cemetery is known as Chalan Kanoa Cemetery—and that is how it was first listed within findagrave—FYI—

Hi Ann
I got the info from 2 different sources.
The one with the most info was Sarah
Jane Dowling's mothers obit (Carharine
Dowling). I also found info on family search
.org. I can send you her obit if you want!
I've also posted it on my tree on Ancestry

RE: Charles Broward
Appreciate your understanding. I have updated his memorial with as much info as I could. He just needs to be attached to his children. Have a wonderful day.

Charles Broward
My memorial for Charles Broward was created over a year before yours. Therefore your memorial in duplicate according to Find A Grave rules. I have updated his memorial.

Jewett Williams
Hi, Yes, I'm aware I have two memorials for Jewett Williams. One shows him in Oregon State Hospital and the other shows him at Togus National. His ashes are actually in transit between the two cemeteries. The Togus Find A Grave is just a place holder so that when he is actually buried there I can just edit the burial place on the OSH memorial. I just didn't want someone to create a memorial for him at Tongus before he is buried there and before I make the switch.

RE: Corning Cem
hi ann. i'm from memphis originally. my mom grew up between corning & reyno, in the heelstring community. her ancestors arrived around 1830, so they are in most of the cemeteries in that area.

my brother & SIL are visiting this weekend, and i'm taking them to central dairy today!
