RE: Oak Grove Baptist
I am not sure about this, but as far as I know, Georgia Tilson was buried at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery; however, her husband is not. He was a member of Saint Luke's Catholic Church and he was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. It appears that his children decided to bury him there, and either they moved Georgia there also, OR she is still buried at Oak Grove. I know of only one case where a person was removed from the cemetery at Oak Grove and that was because the administration of that church would not allow a nonmember to be buried at the cemetery, and so the family moved their already deceased loved one to a different cemetery so that said person could be buried next to their spouse. I do NOT know if this was the case of Georgia Tilson. As far as I know she is still there at Oak Grove, and her husband Charles is buried at Woodlawn. This is all the information that I have at this time; but if I find out anything else concrete, I will let you know.

Family Ties
Hi Susan, Wondering if you are connected to Leon G Haselwood or interested because of your many Clay County memorials? I am connected to Leon through the West family. My Dad was Leon's mother's brother, therefore my first cousin. Leon and his sisters and brother were a part of our family when his parents died in the late 40's.
