|Bio and Links|
I have been our Family Historian and Genealogist since the late 1970's, compiling a great deal of information into one booklet devoted to my family name Spengler, published in 1981. Two years later I published my book "Our Family History", wherein I discussed the families of Spengler, Schneider and Weber, (among others) from my Father's Dad's side as well as the Siddons, Jameson, Newell and Paul families from Dad's Mother's side.|
I am currently working on my Mother's side of the family, including the family names Ulrich, Veith, Heil, Munger, Martin, Berry, etc... I hope to have a book ready for publication by 2015 - if all goes well.
If anyone reading this feels they may have something to add or questions about my research please feel free to contact me.
I also want to assure readers that when I request a transfer it is because the memorial I am requesting is related to me. I only collect relatives with the interest of completing information and connecting them to other relatives within the Find-a-Grave site. I find it interesting to be able to click on an individual then connect to their siblings, parents, grandparents and so on.
Best Wishes to all who use this site!

Thanks I received it and will look it over in a day or two.

I found your name by doing photographs in a cemetery today in Gowanda for Find A Grave. What Berry family is your mother related to?

Thanks for adding his Civil War service to the bio.
I apologise in advance if you're already aware of this;
Find-a-Grave has a new Edit system for basic data of Dates/Places, Names, Plot/GPS, and Marker Transcription. They haven't publicised it to all members yet, I only found out about it thru participating in the Forums.
The new Edit system is FAST, easy, (and pretty cool too). They still have a couple of kinks to work out, but for the most part it works quite well.
To find the new system, just look for a new Edits Tab at the top of your contributor profile page. If there is a number in parentheses on the tab, it means you have edits sent to you waiting to be reviewed and processed. (There will probably be a couple from me.)
Click on the Edits Tab, and you will be presented with the list of edits you need to review. Each one has a drop-down list on the right where you can select Accept, Decline, or Ignore (if you want to do further research before deciding). The best part is... after you make your selections and click "Process Selected Edits", the Accepts and Declines are done automagically - you no longer need to make the changes of those types on the individual Memorial pages. The Ignores will remain on the review list to give you time to decide whether to Accept or Decline.
You will still get Old-Style Suggest-a-Correction emails for Bio info, Transfer Requests, and Family Links. They are planning on adding Family Links to the New system some time in the near future.
Their priority right now is setting up a notification e-mail reminder (either once a week or for edits that are at 20 days waiting), but it's not quite ready for Prime Time yet. Once you get used to the new system, I think you'll like it. ^_^

I'm working on the Mudd family book and would like your permission to print the photo for my book! It will not be published.

Thank you for linking them.
|Janet Muff||RE: Emilia Paul|
Anne and I meet for lunch every summer - she comes to our cottage at Lake St. Catherine. We had to cancel this year's visit because Jim's brother died and my sister died, but are keeping our fingers crossed for next year.
It's a small world, isn't it?
|Janet Muff||Emilia Paul|
I've added Emilia's birth date and appreciate your message. Like you, I am always trying to get the kids in the right order.
I've also sent a message to my friend Anne Slatin, asking her to link Joshua Paul to his parents.
No, I'm not related to anyone in New England, as far as I know. That's my husband's territory - all the way back to the beginnings of the country, I guess. And he's the Paul descendant.
I completed all the transfers you requested. I noticed that the photos for these memorials were rather poor, some from when I was just starting taking pictures. If you would like to request new photos, I will go take some better pictures and remove the old photos. Thanks for your interest in my memorials!! Ken
