|Tyron Goss||RE: John A. Goss|
Thank you, But I am a little confused. I have verified in my files everything that you said. My records agree with you, so that is why I am confused. I am new to this and I don't know how to use this site but I keep trying.
I don't have your Goss line in my files and would like to connect it in. Would you mind telling me where your line and mine connect. My name is Thomas Tyron Goss and my father was known as J.T. Goss. Then Wilson Clifford, Henry Jefferson, Yerby A. and G-G-G-Grandparents Matthew and Evalene McWhorter.
My email is email@example.com if you prefer to respond that way.
Thank you, Tyron

I have corrected this memorial as requested, thank you. Have a great day. Blessings.
|Olibelle Farm||RE: The Langston burial plot in Calhoun GA|
I will do my best to send you information for all graves; 6 or 7 will have ID, there are 3 or 4 that are probably slaves graves but without identification unfortunately)
|Olibelle Farm||The Langston burial plot in Calhoun GA|
I own the property onto which sits the Langston (et al.) burial plot in Calhoun. Although badly damaged by the 2013 Adairsville tornado, many headstones are still there in various states. I have cleaned up the area as much as possible and slowly restoring the damaged headstones & footstones. As I saw that you already registered a few individuals on this website you maybe in interested in some headstone pictures and if yes, I will be happy to send them to you.

If you look at the top of this page where the messages are posted, you will see an EDITS tab. This is the new way of others posting suggestions/corrections for your memorials. If they choose and of the first four categories (dates/places, links for parents/spouse, Name, or plot) of corrections, the information goes here and there is no email generated and sent to you.
Only if they choose the last category " suggest any other correction or addition " does the email get sent to the memorial owner.
As a find a grave member, you are expected to remember to check this edits tab.
Another way to get to it is clicking on your name where you "log in" to find a grave on the left side of any Find A Grave page.
Once there, there is a "process all" button at the bottom of the EDITS page that will process all the items in mass without you having to go to the individual pages.
This is not my preferred way as I would like to do each individually and update my personal computer records, but it is what it is. . . .
Many contributors are adamant that this is the only way they will entertain the updates for their memorials.
Me, I will do what ever I can to make the site more complete and accurate.
I am wondering if you are connected to Barnwell? My 1st cousin twice removed, Anna Laura Leland married John Sidney Barnwell who in 1860 was living in Gordon Co., GA. My 2nd great grand aunt Judith Byrd(Bird) married Robert M. Barnwell who died in 1852 in Gordon Co. GA. I would like to connect these two lines if possible.

Hi there! I added your date correction. I got the birth year from the tombstone. The bottom photo reads birth 1853.
Please when making "family link"requests include the memorial #'s of those in question. JFJN
