Please do transfer to me, thank you! She is my ggggreat grandmother.

We did finally find the stone - it was completely buried under the grass; the grass that had grown over it had to be pulled up in order to see and read it. My husband located the cemetery book at the library and was able to find it based on that info. Thank you for your help!

Do you know if there is a map of the graves in that cemetery, or if there is anyone at that church who would know? The book was helpful, but there is a lot of space around her grave that is unmarked and unnoted in the book, so we are not exactly sure where her grave is located in that large space. Based on the condition of the stone, I am not sure if it is directly over her grave- it appears to have fallen and broken at some point a long time ago. I would like to make sure it is in the right place.

Thank you!

Back in 2011, you uploaded a picture of a small stone for Minnie Irene Bennett. We are at the cemetery, but cannot find the stone. I wondered if you might happen to remember what part of the cemetery it was in, or any landmarks that it was close to (such as the church, the little house, the treeline, etc.) Thanks!

Yay!!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your persistence, dedication and kindness in helping with this request!! As far as I know her husband's first name was James. They are listed together in the 1904 Atlanta City Directory living at the same address as her mother, Celia A. Brown.

Hello Denise,

Thank you so much for taking the time to look for her headstone. I had looked her up here and it listed her as having a "flat small stone" with an inscription. Joel and Lizzie Brown are also listed as both having a "flat small stone". It seems like the stones have sunk into the ground. I can't thank you enough for looking for it and for all the work you are doing taking volunteer photos, as it is such a wonderful way to document the past.
